Man guys after playing the og ver again........god dammit man it actually is a bit sad that it will never be finished. Shit was so fucking good to, almost no other game I can find on this site has come close to TW for me when it comes to enjoying the sex scenes and characters. This remake......tbh I have not even attempted to play it yet since the shit has not even gone past the hospital yet....OH and how long the update is taking to be done to? my god man.

I said it before, but looking at all the characters snatz has listed down to add into the game and how far he has gotten in the past...what 2 years? I...I guess ill maybe come back in 10 years time to see where its at at that point in time.

I really do think he needs help with making the game at this pace, if he is doing this shit semi solo as a dev. The og TW was going at a good pace, but now....yeah. Then again tho, with how the fucking economy is semi world wide I wouldn't be to surprised if snatz is doing a semi bones tales action and also working another job irl along with his substar fan money keeping him in the im not struggling at all category.

I feel you, he should have just kept continuing the old version.

So let me get this straight. He puts out polls for people to choose combos of character creation sliders, and then a poll to choose a name for a resulting character?

The new character looks hot, but how tf is this guy STILL making characters?! 151 or so isn't enough? Also I thought the faceless nightmares were made for random one off sex-scenes. I'm not exactly upset those aren't being used though as I personally think expression makes a world of difference. But god damn I can't believe development is being held up by character creation at this point.

Damn, that's a lot. But... isn't it too much? I see both old characters and new ones, but almost everyone will again be used for one scene, so does it make sense to do so much then?

Im too lazy to count but we are actually at 5 that was used during the prologue so far after 2 years (lars,astarte, ariadne,afir, and tomoe). That mean at the rate hes going it will be at least 60years into he use all 151 and dont forget he may just do another remake before the 60years timer is up.


151/5 = 30.2*2=60.4 years.

And im pretty sure we will be getting another remake before the 60years are up.

That definitely puts things into perspective. He has so many characters that this game will take forever to complete of he doesn't get help with animations. This is what I was worried about. Feature creep and the scope of the game becoming far too large for one dev to handle. Ain't no way he's gonna release it at this rate. It's like the Breeding Farm issue where there are so many combinations that it is mathematically impossible to get them done without a whole lot of people working on it at the same time.

this is why update matters, snats can do it one by one, and from what i can see, it's doable for one person, its even not have moveable characters, and as i know the 3D models and props not from scratch like modeling in blender, so yeah.. from my perspective actually average dev can do 1 full scene in one day with simple animation and static shot, and then one day for programming, input the text and input the scene..

therefore if he really serious and not get any trouble with writing, he can do 8-10 scene in a month, 4-5 scene if he lazy..
and actually you can comparing this with some dev in this forum tho

you always have to wade through scores of pages to fine update info on here because everyone crys but keeps coming back.

Since you don't like going through the pages, I'll just save you some time. There's no update info; that's the whole problem. If there was actually something to be discussed, then people would be discussing that. It's been years since the final update for the original and the content released for the remake isn't enough to justify the wait in-between updates. People complain when you don't do what you say you'll do, who would have thought?

90% of that list is worthless. This is exactly why the game is taking so long, a million and a half characters no one ever asked for or will ever care about. Complete and utter waste of development time.

All the extra shit really is unnecessary. If they shortened the hell intro got rid of those scenes and focused on showing the main 4 that actually matter they could do so much more with less. Do any of his fans who payed or otherwise really want all these extra characters when it's taken forever just to get an extremely brief look at the main ones?

Well to answer the reason why there's so many characters, any you don't recognized are more then likely ones he was paid to create and promise to add to the game as bonus for his fans. I think maybe half the list or more are all fan requests he got from his discord...Oh I guess the person I originally replied to was correct, he got his fan base to make characters for him and paid him for the privilege and 'promise' to be put in the game.

Also ignore eternalkaiser, he or she shows up every couple months to troll and defend Snatz. He or she has at least twice before did this, was debated and lost to the points and evidence, agreed when they couldn't argue against it, disappeared then came back when they assume those they couldn't argue against weren't around to troll again. They probably are one of Snats loyal pups that come around when the thread is dying or slowing down to get it going again and keep it on the top of the reply list to be seen easier.
