Unless I am misunderstanding that post isn't it just saying that the beta that we have on here has been released to Snats's discord for everyone to play and that he's still working on the patch/proper public release the user you're replying to is asking about? Not to mention it's saying it'll be removed Sunday which sounds like it must have been posted a day or two ago and it was only just posted here.
no bro, the game on discord is the public release with the 5 sex scenes and maybe some fixes, the patch snats is working on is a complety different thing.
The reason i didn't put the links is because im wanting for that patch.

No it's not it even says on the post he made that it was the BETA version. If you download it and play the game it says that it is the test version and it doesn't have the extra scenes.
I don't know if the here people just can't read or if they just like to make shit up. He just decided to release the beta version for everyone while he finishes the official public release.
Welp. I think regardless of what the meaning behind that post is I'll just play whatever gets publically released on the patreon. I'd assume that'd be the most polished version I could get and I do really want to give my first impression of the remake the best and fairest chance I can.

Yea fr I've been staying away until the people who didn't even know that a remake has been being worked on for over a year clear out. It's like the thread got invaded by NPCs with pitchforks.

1. How is the current prologue better than the previous one? I wasn't a huge reader, but another user made the point that the character writing in the new one is actually really poor in comparison? The graphics look about the same, the touching groping system is the only thing that's new (and even that isn't shown that well).
2. The reason why not having family content is bad is - because that's what the dev is trying to sell with his remake. He is trying to claim that the rework was necessary and that the product will be improved due to this decision, BUT if he shows no family content then it's similar to a company trying to sell a car, and only taking a photo of a random tree for marketing (while claiming that "it's the fastest, coolest car in the world"). 1st releases are meant to tease the upcoming content so the fans could get hyped (and pledge money) - because it works.
3. Why couldn't the dev dedicate a couple of more updates to finish the previous game (give a few endings), and make the remake into "Twisted World 2"? He's already changing up the story & systems enough, hence what's the issue with that?
There's just too much wrong in terms of how this remake was done already, I think that wanting a "longer prologue" hasn't added anything to the game (and there're even arguments to say that the old one was superior in terms of the character writing). Groping and kissing systems are sure nice, but again the dev could've finished the previous game instead of throwing it away.
A lot of devs have this thought and end up burning out and dropping all their games, the dev was not happy with their work and wanted to fix it, was struggling to enjoy working on the game and wanted to refind love for the title, it's long documeted elsewhere on other sites, it may upset some but it's better then the dev not being happy and just quitting altogether.
As for the family content, people need to think this as a new game, not a mad rush to get up to the same point the original story was just to please the people that want a quick fap. The dev has shared renders, animations, bios, plots and so on off all the characters for the past year on substar and Patreon, and they look amazing, including new characters like the "landladys" ex husband.
There is heaps already done in the design this release was more getting it out there to meet deadlines.
If you take away the past game and view this as a new game it follows 80% of new games for a 0.1 release, you don't get all the main charaters in most 0.1 releases.
I would say wait a few releases before judging this one and treat it as a new game.
I am looking forward to what is to come the preview renders and animations look really nice, and most of the support on discord is really positive as well and in the end the dev keeping themself happy and the paying supporting members intrested is more important then keeping a pirate forum happy.

I already rate this "remake" pretty negatively compared to the original. If I completely ignore the fact that it's a remake, and instead think of it as it's own game, than this game sucks even more. The only reason I even care about it is because of the original in the first place.
Furthermore, the dev clearly doesn't have that intention anyway. If they did, than they would have just made a new game entirely. Instead, they are reusing the name, and branding of the original, which should tell everyone that we SHOULD be comparing the two. It's like if Bethesda told everyone that they shouldn't compare TES 6 to Skyrim, as if they weren't meant to be the same franchise.
Additionally, this isn't even about the lack of content for me. I was in favor of a remake simply because I felt the first few releases of the original were brilliant, but it became lacking overtime. This one however, is lacking from the start. The only reason people even care to begin with was because they enjoyed the original in the first place.
Furthermore, in the beginning of the original, the dev bragged about the large cast of characters that was planned more so than anything else. Suggesting that the game would be character focused, since that was what they prided themselves on. This one however, seems primarily focused on improved graphics and gameplay mechanics. Effectively suggesting that characters have less importance, something that was obvious while playing the first release.
If this game does really focus on graphics and gameplay as it seems thus far, than it's only a hollow experience. It doesn't matter how good the game looks, if the characters and story are boring. It also doesn't matter what sort of gameplay gets added, since this is a porn game and mechanics are never the focus.
I have a generally negative opinion of Snats regardless. However, I do still enjoy his original work, so I want him to succeed simply because I want more quality entertainment. However, this isn't it. His mental health and enjoyment is not, nor should it realistically be our concern. In theory, his happiness should make me happy, since it produces better quality content, but that logic has been proven false with this.

The last sentence right there is the point of it, why delete everything that many people enjoyed to 'make a new game' with the same name? So many games have done this, and even years after they decide to 'remake' their game, they don't even have half the story or scenes as before the remake. There are also quite a few devs that decide to drop a game and make a new one, usually without saying why. Both of these usually end up with people dropping the game and support completely, possibly even just dropping a bunch of 1 star reviews.
We see basically no design done, most of it is just faceless entities, what 'designs' we do see looked so similar to the old designs that it would have fit in already. And the bs about 80% of new games not giving the main characters in a 0.1 release, name a few. Because most of them that I see at least introduce you to the main characters. This just feels like we're being introduced to a couple of side characters. MAINLY because of the shift from what it was to 'something new' and if it had actually been NEW and not a REMAKE then it would be much easier to give some credit to what is there. Saying that this has been in the works for a year doesn't really help, as there are plenty of games who add more content in a month.
Sadly, this is going into the ever-growing pile of "remakes that removed so much content I'll see if it is anywhere near where it did in a year, if it even survives that long without being abandoned completely"

The first paragraph of what I wrote answers why the started again, they were not happy and not enjoying the work they created, but you seem to skip all that, if a developer is not happy then why continue? This has been announced for a year now and support is still going strong. Getting 1 star reviews on F95 means nothing, half of one star reviews here are just people upset with a tag in a game they don't want. Need to stop thinking it's all about F95.
Again Huh? As I said all these designs, of the new models are all posted for wait for it wait for it.... Supporting members not F95, All family members, new characters, scenes already made/WIP these have all been posted and as I said the paying members are mostly really happy for the changes and are looking forward to it. The animations of the new characters are smooth, the designs are good level for this style.
Once again..... Huh? it has not removed any content if anything more content was added..... from the 0.1 version, you never get a full content version from a remake so to say it's removed content is just you being upset for no real reason.
Wait until we get to 0.9 then you can sit there any say if content was removed or not.
I get it your upset, the dev wants to pace each version, treat it like a new game, but if that is not for you and you just want to get right to having sex with your mother then go to latest updates and view the 1000 incest games that already do it. But don't come here and say content was removed when more was added for "0.1" version, wait a few versions and then make this call once it gets to the house area.
When 99% of what was in the game (or essentially 100% in this case) isn't there in the public release, then it is removed content. And if the developer wasn't happy with the game, then, I dunno, clearly say they are dropping it and make a new game, not ride off what was there. Or, as the only thing I've seen is wanting a longer prologue, ADD that to the existing game.
If dev wants to treat it like a new game, actually make it a new game. And yes, I did support the dev for awhile in the past, until my financial situation changed and i had to drop it. With shit like this, and other games that have done the same BS, I won't be supporting anymore.
