I didnt get that feeling like at all. I mean, in the original game we didnt even get to go to school when it was said that we will.
A lot of stuff with demons and angels was unexplained, so tf you mean "was about to be finished"?
I felt like we werent even in half of the whole story.

It was necessary, the game was about to be finished and the creator needed to find a way to extend the game in order to further milk DRY the patreons and continue the endless development cycle. What better way than to remake it and start from scratch? The fact that there are people still supporting them is why they do this, so long as there are suckers who subscribe to this, it'll continue to happen and expect it again once the remake reaches v0.9 and a new koikatsu skin layout becomes popular. Remember that you or me, people who make smart financial decisions aren't the target audience, it's more like whale fishing for people who would buy into Kickstarter or subscribe on patreon.

The old version is worth playing. It's actually better to start on the old version first to give you an idea what the game is all about. The remake barely scratches the surface of the world.

Edit: Also I have no idea why people dont like the MC's look. I feel like people saw preview of his hairstyles and automatically thought he will be an asshole. In my opinion the long hair looks pretty good on him. And from the interaction with his family, he acts like in the old version.

To be honest, you are correct that it doesn't look bad but with how the game was setup before and how our character acted before the remake, it will make it look like our MC is doing this maliciously rather than innocent(?) pervertedness.
The current sharpness of the eyes of the our character also adds up to that so when combined to that slicked back hairstyle, it will make him look like a "Bad Boy". Granted there is a niche for that but we are so used to the previous attitude of our MC being a goofy pervert, it doesn't fit the bill.

This thread was open in 2020. You are still coping after 4 years and are ok with a remake? I said it was about to be finished because it was on version 0.9. ver 1.0 is a finished product and anything after that is an update. I can' expect people on this forum to know what versioning is so I hope you and the 3 people that liked you learned something.

I ain't talking about the choices presented in the game. Heck, the "planned" look for the MC where people are complaining isn't in the game yet. He still has his long-from-the-coma-but-weirdly-silky-smooth hair aka Jonah's hair.



This is one of the "planned" yet most prominent that the dev is hinting is gonna be used to be our MC's hairstyle and is the one that the people are complaining (or at least I think so) about..... Aizen....

I'm not saying this to defend anyone, but I've seen games that had been on 0.9 before some years back and all of a sudden the dev adds an extra number next to the 9 in case there would still be a lot more content planned to be added which it did end up like that. And for a few devs, if it continues to need more content, then those numbers are changed entirely to something else, like date of when the update was made instead of a version number. One example would be Ryen Saotome's game. Again, I'm not defending this dev or taking any sides in this topic, just stating what I've seen from observing some devs over the years. Of course I've seen a few devs be true milkers that didn't give a shit about their fans, like ICTSOR and the one guy who made "School of Lust". I'm currently undecided on what I think of Snats. I will just continue observing him and his game before I decide what my opinion will be.

Yeah, but before transferring to Subscribestar, he posted three possible hairstyles for the MC on which kind of hair they will have.
It was the most shown one by the dev before. Heck, they even gave a "canon" name for the MC which is "Jack" and "Jack" wears that hairstyle.

I adjusted a script to remove that annoying typewriter sound that the text has. Just extract the game folder within to your game's folder, overwriting if needed.

It's the most basic of changes, only commenting out a single line of script. Thus it needs to be in the correct subdirectory of the game folder. It would require actual mod skills that I don't have to make it work anywhere in the game folder.
