This honestly sounds awful... what benefit does any of this shit add to the player experience?
I imagine it's supposed to be immersive, but I think he's slowly falling into feature creep. Like, I initially liked the idea of stats because they can add replayability, but in the grand scheme of things, it's just a speech check.
Adding money can help add potential scenes via gifts and outfits and the mugging itself can easily add a sex scene, but I imagine, like most of these games, the money would quickly become useless as it's also a glorified speech check/obstacle to unlock things.
Like, I get why he'd want to add these things. But, at the end of the day, most of these features just makes the grind of the game fundamentally longer. Which is of course beneficial to him and gives the game the false sense of long content, but most of the scenes in the remake are unnecessarily extended.
