There were a lot of characters in the previous version. Not all of them had scenes but many did. I can relate to wanting to design all your characters before diving in, I do the same myself as a writer. But I also recognize that you can do the Tite Kubo thing and end up creating way more characters than you can ever make real use of and hurt the overall plot by trying to force them all in. But I do get both sides of this. Sometimes that's what a writer needs to break through block, go design/refine your characters that you love to reinvigorate you.

Not at all. I would even say that most of the scenes showed on the 0.1.5 are way way worse than the ones on the original build, including those scenes from the original 0.1 and 0.2 og build.

I knew this guy was a milker the moment he dropped the first version of the remake months after he promised it. That’s when I cut off my financial support. If you actually want people like this to get their shit together and deliver updates on time, you need to stop supporting them. Protesting with your wallet is the only language they understand. Otherwise, they’ll just keep dragging things out while happily sucking money out of you. And if he says he’ll quit developing the game because the money stops, that’s his damn choice. No one here is a sucker.

It astounds me how no one really tried to make their own spin on this, especially with Snats' procrastination. There's dozens of monster ranchers since Breeding Season imploded, and Simbro-likes, why can't we get more twisted worlds?

The fact that there is no other game like this, is probably one of the main reasons why it still has so much support even though we only get 1 update per year now.
You are starting to see devs adding futa/trans and trap characters to their games more often so I think it's a matter of time until we get a game with a similar setting.
