I knew this guy was a milker the moment he dropped the first version of the remake months after he promised it. That’s when I cut off my financial support. If you actually want people like this to get their shit together and deliver updates on time, you need to stop supporting them. Protesting with your wallet is the only language they understand. Otherwise, they’ll just keep dragging things out while happily sucking money out of you. And if he says he’ll quit developing the game because the money stops, that’s his damn choice. No one here is a sucker.

I doubt he's going to stop developing the game if people started cutting support. There's too much money in it for him. What's he going to do, get a full time job in the Dominican Republic that'll probably pay 10% what he makes off his subs? If people started cutting off support, it might actually get him off his ass and start treating this like a full time job, because with that kind of pay where he lives, it is.

Another game ruined by a greedy developer... Don't they understand they're just cutting bridges for long term game developing? No one will support them in the future when they do so much to milk a game, and the update comes out so inconsistently that so many people end up losing interest or forgetting that the game even exists, isn't maintaining the interest of supporters and players worth gold in this industry? Don't they spike in supporters whenever the game gets released? More releases = more supporter spikes which give more money no?
I remember being so hyped about this game for so long now I go months forgetting it even exists and when I do, I check for an update and guess what, even then nothing comes out, it's been like this for so long that at this pace this game will only be finished in 15 years. Dev has no plans to finish this
