If this updated faster I honestly think there wouldn't have been as much backlash as its gotten, but as is it's so damn slow to update that it feels real sucky for those who've been following this games development for half a decade now. Unlike a lot of other cash grab remakes it does have /some/ improvements, but it's not enough to justify setting the story back years. Oh well, the original is still a very decent experience to replay every now and then.

I feel the same way about it basically. I do think the re-deigns are better then they were before with the exception of the MC though. Kinda looks like a school shooter now lmao.

Don't do it.
The old build is so superior to the current build that it'll make you hate this one more. If you like this one don't look at the previous, far better, one.

I understand what you're trying to say, but writing the total number of X work doesn't matter when we're still in the same place as before after years.
At this point, Snats has been working on the remake version longer than he's been working on the original, give or take.
If you wanna compare games, was Eternum still stuck on the prologue after 2-3 years? As a matter of fact, there's only a 1-year difference between TWR and Eternum's development, and Eternum has faaar more things going on with the virtual reality shenanigans than TW. 10k Renders, 400 animations and 15-20 sex scenes over the course of the entire game vs 16k, 2k, and 100+ (foreplay), and we're still in the prologue.... The roof isn't even being built yet, and unneeded rafters keep getting added in.

Personally, I like the remake, particularly the expanded story and the inclusion of the father. I also disagree with other people saying that the remake is objectively worse than the original. I think the remake is really good (at least in terms of art/story). But I'm not gonna pretend like Snats hasn't been dragging his feet with this. People are right to criticize his work ethic/pacing.

Confused. Where'd the game go? It's now hold ctrl in the hospital simulator, but it used to be a romance tier game with the different characters.

Oh boy guys.....After coming back to this to see how much progress was made with this update.

The main issue here is just the scope of wtf snatz wants to do sadly.

If he really wanted this game to be what he's trying to do with this remake version, he should have continued with the older ver. even if he had to redo it from scratch. Wait a few years, hell finish the older ver. and after the amount of money and fans he would have gained in that time, it then would have been a good time to maybe try and find some like minded people / hired help to help do this remake version.

Every update that goes by makes me feel like this in the sense of content. I just finished p4g and.. : r ...

[edit never mind the hell scenes towards the end just didn't pop in the gallery. i guess he does need bug testers]

3 years to get everything in the old version. 2 to not even escape the hospital in this one. like... bruh... whats even taking so long? i get its one guy, but he already had all the models and everything set up before the first remake update dropped. spent a year just getting everyone modeled giving the impression it would go faster because all the ground work was already set. already had a plot, had the characters, and just needed to render the new scenes, super simple. given the infrastructure he should have been able to at least catch back up to the original by now.... just bruh...

at least there are some actual scenes, not good ones, mostly teasing... but some, so he's not as bad as dark cookie. but at this rate seems like that is what he's is trying to do. join dark cookie as a supreme milker. idk man, an over engineered series of handys and some dream sequences ain't worth all this time spent on them.

if there is anything left of the old snats in there i would stop fucking around, and get us outta the hospital, and get the game back on track,if the next update isnt sex scenes with the hospital ladies, escape from hospital, and all early scenes with the fam at home (minimum at least 1/3 of og games scenes) with introductions to most the remaining cast.... then maybe there is a chance. but if then there is none of that....and we still stuck in the hospital after another 6 month wait for an update... well then it will be proof snats has been taken by the avatar of greed dark cookie and is just trying to milk everyone.

Loved the old version. Playing the new version now and why on earth did the hospital scene take so long!? It's just the same repeated dialog and handjob's over and over and it's extended far too much from the original version!
