Well, they're not that strict, some games literally have the option to leave reviews disabled (only showing positive reviews). I don't know if it's something the developer decides or if they can directly prevent some people from giving their opinion, but that's the case.

What a shame, not even the metaphorical update is spared from content cuts in favor of this.
These updates sound more like the Dev's fever dreams; every day he wakes up thinking he's making progress, but in reality he's in a straitjacket in a padded room XD. One of the doctors updates the posts just for fun.
Haven't touched thought about this game in roughly two years. We finally actually getting new content or is the dev still just teasing images and gifs of "new content and characters" without actually remaking anything past the Hospital?
We're still stuck in the hospital, nothing relevant has happened, the last update added almost nothing new, just a TON of text and introduced a TON of irrelevant and unappealing characters—literally ZERO progress. The guy keeps talking as if his updates are packed with content, mentioning thousands of renders and animations, it's completely delusional. To this day, nobody knows why he always talks like that; everyone assumes some whale is supporting him and that's why he does absolutely nothing.

He probably has no idea how to make continuation of the story interesting, that's why he is sitting on the easiest part - making sex scenes for irrelevant characters and whine how hard it is to write code in ren'py and how many bugs his code has.
And the saddest part is that I am really interested in TW world, it can contain so many stories, which would feel fresh even if they are cliche, just because of the setting.
In fact, I think he made everything more complicated with the new beginning he gave the game. He could have used those ideas to be added later, not so soon. Now what's he going to do? Get into weird kinks and degenerate the sex scenes more and more until even the fans start to get disgusted?
I really don't understand why these devs complicate their stories so much. People just want context leading up to the sex scenes/situations and for the characters to be likable. Anything else is just extra. The problem with this remake is that now EVERYTHING is extra.
The new characters are REALLY bland. Outside of the family (excluding the father; he should have left that character dead), there's hardly anyone new who seems even remotely interesting.
What's the oldest version pre-1st remake? Kinda curious about it so I wanna check it out

The original was the 1st remake. The dev had made the game and it was somewhere between the first or third update iirc that he had a corrupted hard drive and lost all his data. So he had to remake most of the game from memory alone. Not even sure wtf is going on with this second update, it's taking the scenic route to go through the storybeats and adding all kinds of shit that wasn't in the old game.
