I've checked some of the Patreons posts, and zaaaaaamn, Snats is kinda of too ambitious for his own good, there's ton of new planned characters for the remake that were announced before 0.1.5 dropped(which from what I understood is the first version of the most recent remake) and as of now are nowhere to be seen on the game itself, so they're planning too much ahead and creating content that never was in the previous versions, which makes it take even longer to finally complete the prologue

It's basically "feature creep" TBH, I just hope that by 2069 we won't be getting more remakes(that from what I've heard this is the 3rd or 4th time Snats is making the game from the ground up) and that the game will finally reach 1.0

If you're reffering to the giant list of 100 or so characters from a while back then don't worry, those were all (or at least a major chunk) paid for by his subscribers. The dev is ambitious sure, but it wasn't that ambition alone that drove up the content creep. It was just another profitable teat to tempt his fans with back when he had a whole truck load more of goodwill with them. I imagine it's why some stick around, holding on to hope that one day they'll get to dick down their totally not Makima from Chainsaw Man but futa oc.
