almost 6 months of wait time is way over the top. amount of Patreon users that give him money (even if only 2 dollars each) should allow the dev to release content every month, not a lot but enough. so I find no excuse. I always blame Patreon for this BS, they should auto cancel any subscription after such a long time with no updates, otherwise it allows Devs to get lazy and even abuse the system.

I kinda agree with you, a lot of content creators on patreon use the platform to abuse their subscribers and keep them on a leach with throwing at them some sneak peak every now and then to keep them thursty, and that's a major problem with the community :/
There's absolutely no excuses that can justify all this wait, unless the dev has some personnal/health problems then he should at least pause the subscriptions on his Patreon page until he comes back to working on his game. And here i though some other developpers were scumbags for milking their subscribers by not releasing anything in 3-4 months hahahaha, man this update better have a TON of hot content lol.

This seems to be the biggest biggest and only problem with this game. Snats doesn't seem to care too much about his subscribers and actually bring them updates at a normal pace. He promised monthly updates and the beginning of the year (after releasing the latest update) but in the end he still ended up doing whatever he wanted. I don't personally believe he does this with the intention of scamming his patreons, but more because he easily gets lost into his fantasy of creating "the best porn game ever". But too make matters worse, every time you try to bring up this problem and actually shed light on it, meaning to try to make it clear that this needs to change, the moderators on discord just shut you down, not allowing discussing this type of criticism and say "it's ready when it's ready."

He promised monthly updates and the beginning of the year (after releasing the latest update) but in the end he still ended up doing whatever he wanted. Guys, you choose whether to subscribe and can unsubscribe when you want to. They're an unexperienced person making a porn game because they feel like it, I don't understand why your expectations are so high. Pumping out content is a pain - if you don't appreciate his speed you can just play something else. I understand you'd prefer more frequent updates, but ultimately they decide what's comfortable for them to do. Especially if you get the game off of here for free, unconstructive complaints just sound like entitled people throwing tantrums.

Plus, all the coding, bug finding, and it's ONLY him working on the game, he also said the reason of no Dev notes is because he's preparing the update for this week (according to what Snats said). Try and make a game yourself, ESPECIALLY in the koikatsu engine, and let me know how it turns out.

Try 3 sex scenes with 8 different camera angles and speed for each one. Also isn't Koikatsu a video game with an extensive editor where you can import modded characters into an enviroment and select animations from a playlist? Also it's still a renpy game so it's not like he's making a game in koikatsu engine.

He makes it in Chara Studio, still. It's very diffucilt to make sex animations in that type of studio since you need advanced tools that beginners won't know how to use. Snats trys his very best to make the best sex scene without the MCs penis no-clipping the girls stomachs.

way to go, immediately coming to the conclusion that we're not supporting the dev on patreon and that we're entitled brats
i enjoy the game and appreciate all the work he puts into it but instead of trying to create the "best update ever" that takes over 6 months to be released, he should probably give us a periodic update every two months or so with whatever content he created during those 2 months. If he can make an hour long update in 6 months, he can make a 20 min update in 2. Just my opinion.

no one here is denying his skills or bashing him. But like he said it himself, this is gonna be the biggest update to date and with a ton of content, wich we all love obviously. My issue here is, instead of putting an update once every 6-7months with 30 scenes in them, why not put an update every 1,5-2 months with 8 scenes in them ? Everybody loves a big update, but at some point the dev has to aslo think about his fans who have been waiting for several months. Personally i'd rather have a small update every 2 months rahter than a big one every +6 months.

I'm sure snats is passionate about this game and doesn't do it only for the money, even if it is I don't se a problem, The game is good so why do it for free. But IN MY OPINION, he needs to get a bigger team and do a sort of progress bar (like other developers do) either that or stop setting up schedules he can't follow. Getting a bigger team might be expensive but the dude has like 20+tiers and I'm sure they are profitable enough and the game is quite popular

Nah one update every month is constant stress and if something comes between (yes snats is human something always can happen) and he has to pause his work, it wouldnt be possible in just a month. life is going to be a loop and personally thats hell for any person living in the LOOP.

If you make a big update like this... it is very easy to get lost in the weeds and just overall lose track of time.

Do not be surprised if the update is a letdown (like the last one). Just temper your expectations.

God I am still mad about the last update when he held back on a lot of content he made in that time just to keep it for future releases. I HOPE THIS TIME AROUND IT WON'T BE THE SAME, especially it being the final update of DISK1.

I love the game but I joined the discord some months ago and I coudn't stay for long because how ignorant they act and how they like to alienate anyone with a legit question, bunch of ***.
