100 people worked on fallout 4. took 4 years for development. Animations, graphics, are ass. Game is not properly optimised. And you know why Bethesda is famous for ? "BUGS". On the other hand assassin's creed 4 was developed by around 1000 people in one year animations, graphics are very good. I didn't find a single bug in my playthrough.

yeah mans trying to tell AC games dont have bugs when they first get released got us in the first half there ngl.
Didn't say the game do not have bugs but comparatively to Bethesda games AC 4 has less bugs i completed both fallout 4 and AC4 i didn't find bugs in ac4 on the other hand fallout 4 had lot of bugs on my playthrough. What I'm trying to say that snats needs help with the game and some guys here saying he doesn't need help. I disagree with them. This is not about ubisoft and Bethesda.
do you really wanna use AC as an example? when Unity exists? seriously? also you could give a decade and ten times the hands to bethesda, and their games will still release broken and bugged out the wazoo.
but its unfair to compare a unity asset flip(not bashing, but that's pretty much what it is), with a fully fledged out open world. the diference in complexity is incomparable. even nintendo wasnt able to pull off a bug free game in a long time.
Ya you all can believe what you want. I still think snats needs help with the game. Not going to reply on this anymore this just stupid at this point.

Go back a few pages, you will see me saying that. my argument was, you dont use AC for quality control, when they made unity.

I did not say Snat is dumb and I like to assume Im not dumb. If you think a bit you can come up with few reasons why this is getting delayed (the following are just my theories):
1) He is telling the truth but he is just very very slow.
2) He focused entirely on asset creation and now is focusing on the scripting part. Which is a terrible idea in any kind of software development. Now he has to go back and forth between the asset and write scricpts to fit it. A better idea would be to write the story down - work on the dialog part of the scripts - create assets - then finish up the scripts. Another programmer is not going to help Snat here. It will only slow him down if he has another person he has to communicate with. Plus games like this are better when one guy has full control over the assets and the scripting - he can do exactly what he wants.
3) He is milking. It is funny how people completely trust what a porn game dev says when there are many out there who are obviously milking their supporters. The update has been in development for half an year now - are you actually believing he was working on this update for half an year?! He probably worked on the game 2 - 3 months the rest he was probably just chilling and collecting that free Patreon money.
Number 3 is what i 100% would do, people gave him so much free money and yet none of them can even ask about game progress without his cuck mods banning/warning people.
It's intriguing that all this drama where people are taking sides will be completely settled when the update will come out. From the outside it feels like a judgement day for Snats.

Honestly, there is no reason to take sides. Snats has already done a big mistake which is making too many delays. Besides the game being famous, the other reason of why there are a lot of people arguing is because he said X and then do Y, other game could take a tons of time but if the dev its clear about what he is going to give and when its going to happen, then nobody can think bad of him.
I think nobody can deny that this behavior is unprofessional, even if there are honest reasons, even if he actually deliver a lot of content. Being professional is no just do a service or give a product, it also means some seriousness in their work.
And yes, i know coding is hard to measure time and sometimes things dont go as it should but that is no an excuse, this is no a school.
You are 100% correct. The only biggest flaw with this game is that the dev doesn't keep his word. To me it's clear he doesn't have bad intentions, but he is doing whatever goes through his head and doesn't care too much of what others want of the game. Yes he is making this game to "make you cum nonstop" but the road is really rough because of his decisions.

All I'm gonna say is thank god that this game isn't the only good game available out there.
And i have nothing against Snats but come on, when a dev keeps on delaying the release date more than a couple of times, brings an excuse every time he does it, keeps saying that it's gonna be released "soon" and weeks later still no news at all about it and is making a ton of money off the game, i think these are all the signs needed to understand that he's most likely milking his subscribers.
When you promise a release within a couple of months then say oh it's gonna be for next month actually, then oh it's for the first week of june guys be preprared, later oh sorry i meant end of june etc etc i think it's quite obvious that the guy is enjoying the money he's still making without releasing shit.
Supposedly its taking all this time (literally over half a year) because he's creating more content for the update, but the vast majority of the fans (fans who support him on patreon ans subscribestar) already expressed how they feel about it and asked him many times over that they would rather have a normal size update every 2 months rather than a big one twice a year, but he just doesn't care, because this method is working just fine for him.
