So what prompted this mass remake in the first place? He is full on committed to it and seems to be doing a great job of it but yeah... why? Game was already fine as it was IMO.

He was already complaining that the tits were a pain to animate, so he's reducing the size of the booba and doing a full fleged overhaul.
Originally it was going to happen at a break in the plot, but he's doing it early/now for some reason. Also I'm not a fan with every single new character basically looking like some drug addicted pornstar from brazzers.
I followed and even subbed for a while specifically because of the tidds. When your prime advertised character is getting breast sized reduced to half or so, its kinda a letdown.
Yeah and the bulk of female characters, especially Jazmin (Thread cover image and title screen character) are getting those huge breasts massively reduced.
Dev has put bulk of effort into trap/futa content since v0.5 anyhow. Great for those who want it, but its a let down for those of us who liked the variety and extreme booba that pulled us in initially. I have no problem with it. Just feels like the content is skewed heavily to it now.
The sheer number of female characters probably misleading us into thinking we're getting a wave of mf or mff scenes given that fact. I highly doubt most of them will be fuckable. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but last few updates have been kind of letdowns given what I was enjoying initially in the game.
But as long as the dev is enjoying making it that's good by me. They aren't paywalling the game, so I have no complaints in general. Its still a good game, and I'm curious to see what they come out with.

Wasn't the last update focused on daily events, that didn't fit with the narrative at all? I don't really remember.
Yeah was just thinking in terms of plot. Overall I don't have any real complaints. The "story" has been pretty all over the place since 0.5 imo. I'm hoping the revamp cleans some of that up.
It's getting more absurdly over the top that it initially was, which is more of a distraction than good imo as if feels like fever dream than sensical, plus the worldbuilding is extremely vague given everything.
Like was expecting the history lessons with Rebecca and stuff with Ms Torres wouldve fleshed out the lore/background of the world a bit more. I'm hoping the revamp goes into that more, as it feels like its not really fleshed out and dev is just hurling situations randomly at us loosely based on the theme and trying to stitch them together.

well yeah, i like big boobs but, bro, jazmim is ridiculous, i kinda get used to it and we have the "not our world(dimension/reality)" excuse, but yeah the dev should do whats is best for him. And wow, the game is pretty great, his story is really something else, cant wait to go back college and have some serious talk with those who bullied my friends

I can understand and respect that. I'm just saying Jazmins (plus demon sisters) gigantic booba is what drew me and a lot of people to this game in the first place. That entire "trait" is getting more or less cast aside while other fetishes get boosted every update.
So it feels more like the handful of us who were backers almost at start got used to bankroll the project until enough people got into it (swarms of people who never paid a dime who want traps for the memes who spam the polls on a discord anyone can join and vote in) and what we wanted can be kicked to the curb.
Its stuff like this is why I back fewer and fewer projects on patreon. Call me bitter, I just really feel a bit of a let down more than anything. "Disappointed" is really how I feel about it. Sometimes I wonder if I should make my own game rather than just being sadboi hours over things.
