Is it just the models that are getting reworked or the code as well?
Cuz ffs, the game is a mess
My main problem with this sandbox is that the scene triggers are all over the place (literally ) and sometimes in random order, more than once i got a character referencing something that hasn't even happened yet

Yeah, the game was due for an overhaul no matter how you look at it.

Some of the new models look nice for what they are, some are fucking awful, like the MC, but overall, as a collective they're less... something... something has been lost, the style of the original models is gone and it's like they're more generic or something... i dunno, i'm struggling to find the words, i stopped following this game just before the rework started and just today looked up the new models and yeah... dunno how everyone else feels about it but i'm about 99% sure this is going to be just another example of why devs shouldn't rework or remaster their games until they're 100% completed.

I just hope it gets some kinda direction. Being locked in a house waiting for shit to happen by pressing skip button is kinda lame. Oh you didn't wait till the third Sunday of the month, guess you can't do that event! Also why the fuck do so many events trigger at night time when you sleep? Not only that, they are queued one at a time across multiple characters too. Maybe look at when events are supposed to fire off and divvy up events, so they are spread more evenly over different time periods?

100% agree. Waiting was basically all you could do at the end, and if you got too eager clicking forward you either had to load a save, or loop a whole week.

Exercising with the big sister was the worst, cause you are there and you want to exercise, but nope, wrong day asshole! Better press that wait/skip button some more.

So many sandboxes have this problem, which is why I generally avoid them.

Game is not getting released anytime soon and ppl still blindly pay for that. Porn industry is really pathetic

And let’s assume the game is good when released, the thrill of this game would be over. Waiting so long for a porn game is horrible. There’s so many good porn games that I’ve liked but because they slowly develop them, I get bored of waiting after a year.

It's not gonna be popular, but I agree with your points. All the original characters looked like the roles they were supposed to play. Especially the MC who was supposed to be a shota with a third leg. It's kinda silly to call this anything other than a completely new game.

It feels like Snats tried to lean into the prince trope you see with lesbians in anime cause the eyes and face shape are kinda androgynous, but it's a boy so it's just a hot guy, not even a twink. I think if they removed the weird ab definition and went back to the prior hairstyle instead of this weird Aizen cut it'd be fine. The MC still looks kinda short so Idk. Might just be me.

Minor wall of text incoming
TL;DR is that I'm reluctantly optimistic but my expectations are fairly low.

I really really want to have faith in Snats on this but damn those character remodels are uh. . . not confidence inspiring, I'll say. Esp the MC, half of his charm was that he was just as much a femboy as anyone else in his world but his mischevious attiude (and footlong dick) let him run around doing whatever or whoever he wanted; was a fun trope. The new one looks more like some dude and I get the sinking feeling his personality is also gonna change from "cute and horny" to "prickish and horny" which would probably ruin the game outright for me.

For the family I actually like a majority of them (Jeanne excluded), Jaz looks 1000x better and I could probably get used to Jill and Jaiden's new looks fairly quickly, but damn some of the side characters got done dirty. Nora specifically was my fave and this new look is. . . it's not bad but it just fails to capture the same things I liked about the old one. I know it's been said a million times in this thread but Jeanne looks like an entirely different person to the point that I'd be genuinely impressed if Snats can pull off the same character she used to have and make it work even slightly.

In all honesty I'm not even opposed to the idea of TW getting a remake, to put that out there.

The game as it currently exists is rough around a lot of edges and I could completely understand wanting to maybe tweak some bits of the story, some character designs, etc. etc. Might be a hot take but Jaz easily had the worst design in the game and I completely approve of her redesign, no questions asked.

But like, did the entire cast need to be redone in their entirety? Did we really need 2 (or 3, can't recall) brand new family members? Did we really need an entirely new MC who has an entirely different place in the world and had his old spot taken by a new character? All of this stuff just feels like changes for the sake of them and I really worry that this is just inventing problems just to solve them, which almost always results in a worse product than we started with.

All in all I'm gonna stay tuned regardless, I like this game too much to just ditch it over an update that's not even out yet, but damn I'm not all that excited for it.
