Damn the update was quite good, better quality sex scenes than before the remake, a stat system, more story about heaven and hell, I cant wait till the next update, everything was better quality, no clipping or anything.

But dialog was somewhat cringy/silly at points

The meatriding in this thread is nuts, imagine waiting a year for a new version, paying $100, more than a triple AAA game to play a remake of the game early, that you've already played before, and it only has 3% of the content.

It's okay to be disappointed at what we received, and even more okay to be annoyed that you had to pay A BENJAMIN to even access it. I really enjoyed the original game too, but paying $100 for a remake that wasn't even strictly necessary is crazy to me.

This fiasco isn't even about how good/bad the remake is. People who hated on Snats in the past will 100% hate on the prologue as well and people who supported him will not. It's mostly people that never subbed complaining about people supporting a game they like. Most of the dumb stuff they are complaining about is stuff that all the people supporting already knew. None of the supporters are surprised that it's only the prologue or that he didn't add all the characters that he showed in the dev logs to the prologue. They will keep shitting on the game and the dev but as soon as an update is leaked or is released to the public they will be the first ones to play it.

At a $20 price point, that is still not a lot for your money, ESPECIALLY when we are living in a recession.

What you people fail to realise is that content creators do first and foremost what they want, they don't actually serve any one of us regardless of how much money we give them. That's why he spent more than half that year making 150 koikatsu models and custom backgrounds/ animations etc. that will not be present in the game any time soon. If you actually expected a a remake worth 1 year of development and a x k monthly salary on ver. 0.1 than you were setting yourself up for disappointment

Yeah it's a lot of money, but you don't NEED to pay anything, if it's too much for you then don't sub to those tiers. Wtf is this argument?
