First of all i never said that patreon is "buying" the game, that's something you made up in your head for your "argument", second of all, lets do some math. You need to pay $20 for 5 day early access to a game, or $100 for the pre-release version.
Now at this point in time, you could play the game early for $20, but lets say you wanted to support the dev, and you paid for the $20 tier so you could get the koikatsu cards. You have spent, over the past year, $240 for some Koikatsu cards, full access to a discord, a mention on the News Network, and 3000 renders and 200 animations. At a $20 price point, that is still not a lot for your money, ESPECIALLY when we are living in a recession.
All I'm saying is that people have a right to be disappointed.
