okay, I haven't played this game in a while though I have read about the dev's decision to change things up a bit. I have to admit that I didn't follow them until this project, so I am not exactly aware of their practices, but what just happened?

I read the changelog and was aware that they made a massive content cut-off, but.. they literally removed _a huge majority of the sex scenes that were available_. The only scenes that I've seen were the one with the lady who got drugged kind of forcing you into sex, the character masturbating in the bathroom and that's about it.

There is absolutely no way to check the stats you have with Annie or other people from what I've noticed, there's a notification that pops up every now and then which says hidden content unlocked but I'm not entirely sure if the scene I was going through is the hidden content or if there is a hidden gallery of sorts where we can see those things?

You can't explore, I have tried that option several times but nothing happens. Same thing with looking for work or trying to hang out around the apartment. You can set up a "date" so to speak to go hang out with the aunt but you can't do it? The gloryhole thingy quest, I technically gathered the 10 points needed but still need a call. Annie is nowhere to be seen around the apartment after the first day? This was a gigantic downgrade.

I mean, the dev is in all their right to change things up should they want to, don't get me wrong. But there's almost no content to enjoy at the moment

Cheat codes are not implemented yet.

They technically are. Someone shared them a couple of messages back on this same page, but I don't think they do much yet?

I can't find out how to use the cheats in this version.

Just like before, put it into the textboxes in the settings.

So no content was added whatsoever?

It got a complete overhaul, so there are changed scenes. Old stuff thrown away, new stuff inserted. I have not played a full run until now, but that is what i can say.

*edit: i played further, and many scenes where cut out, everything got rearranged, it's much more linear now, with fewer choices.
Feels like he has done everything from the scratch. So no new content for now, instead many scenes are missing.
You now have some kind of "homescreen" from where you can go to places, train your skills, interact with your phone etc. instead of freeroaming.
Let's see what the next update brings.

I was also confused by this. There doesn't seem to be anything to do. Most of the options don't do anything. I thought my game was bugged or something, but I guess not. Strange direction dev's taking this in.

I dropped my 20 dollar a month plage. This was such a down grade from what it used to be. Waited 4 moths for this wow I am just disappointed. It was going in the right direction now I am not sure.

One of the few games that's going backwards...

I told you guys from the beginning, the scope of this game was too ambitious, beyond what a single developer or a small group of developers would be able to deliver. The dev realized that when the game was in its version 0.39, so he tried to cut off a lot of things and create a system that would reduce his workload when developing new events. I still believe the amount of work to finish this game as it is now, and with the large number of possible love partners for the MC, is beyond the possible. But, let's wait and see...

Most people don't understand that the dev changed the way the game works. V0.40 is not the next update after V0.39. It is practically a NEW GAME. The dev will have to create all content he had in V0.39 and insert it in this new version of the game. It will take time, since he works alone.

I get that, but you been watching for a long time as well. I just feel it's not worth it to me anymore. I wish GGames the best.

Yeah, it wouldn't have been so bad if maybe we had a few events here and there with an actual working UI. But at the moment, there's barely any content to pursue

Welp, this rework made it quite a bit worse. The train part made me think that it changed into a goddamn side scroller when it comes to viewpoint, but the apartment isn't that bad, but still, POV is worse than it was. Skill farming is slow and annoying; it's going to take weeks to raise a skill by 1 point, and the cheat code doesn't do much. It raises all player stats to 1 like previously, but there already are skill level 2 checks, and we can't edit any stats or points. Quests are still mystery stars, and this time some seem repeatable and thus progress the quest level. Can't say much more because after I ignored going to the park and started farming skill exp, Annie left for school and never came back, so there was no point in continuing my playthrough. Overall, it is worse and less polished than previously.

I haven't played the new version, but one question I'd make the dev is this: if you're cutting content, why not reduce the bloat before the main story actually begins? For example, wouldn't it make more sense for the aunt to demand a visit the very next day after the MC arrives, and them he goes to that lab the day after that? This way, you'd have the story moving earlier than this, skipping things that are just introductory now, like the park.
