One was supposed to come out October 20th but the dev has been playing around with AI on discord for the past few weeks I don't think we're going to get one.
It's looking like he is leaning towards changing the style again at this point.
he should accept these 2-3 months as a useless loss, take the old version and continue working on that one, everyone was happy with that apart from the lack of content

Which is sad because at some point the dev have to admit that you can't make the perfect game from scratch. He just have to keep going, yes he'll make mistakes, but then he'll be able to improve on something that exist.
He's been using AI for art help unless I misread something. Wasn't his reassurance that he would be able to finish the game this time when he first started the redo at the start of this thread that he was using AI to assist with everything? If all of a sudden he's saying, "Well I am getting help from AI now!" when that was a major reason for his claim that he would be able to finish, that's a pretty big red flag.
I don't want him to quit again by any means because he is obviously very talented, it's just very hard to believe him with all of the resets he has done
The game is unfortunately already dead... Has less content than before and now he's taking a month off and hasn't accomplished anything in all those months

Ironically there is someone in the discord pretty much trying to do exactly that. Honestly he gave him a ton of really good advice and talked him out of remaking the game again with AI renders.
The question now though is if he will actually listen or keep doing the same shit.
I am speechless. Edit: He gets over 2300 euros a month for doing nothing and taking 8 week breaks. Shame on all the patreons around the world who continue giving money to dishonest and lazy content creators. You guys deserve the anal fisting he is giving you and your donations.
yeah this would be the correct way if that person knows development but it has to be an actual agreement where he can push for stuff. Giving tips is good but that dev is not going to adhere to anything unless it's formally agreed upon imho based off of his behavior so far.
Lmao he’s already rebooted the game so many times in the past almost decade and there are so many abandoned threads on this very game on here. People literally don’t wanna learn, but people are also willing to shove Patreon/subscribestar money to these devs that don’t actually develop anything and keep edging paying subscribers
Honestly, I don't get it at all. If he couldn't come up with anything now (though we know at least about the render with Jimmy), he has a bunch of scenes from 0.39 that could be recycled into the new version...
So somewhat related to the topic at hand, do you guys think that if someone establishes a pattern of milking people's money off and on over the course of years by using essentially the same quantity of content, stopping at almost the exact same spot in the story every single time, that they are acting intentionally out of malice to rip people off, or do you think they are just scatterbrained? Under most circumstances, I lean towards the former, though I prefer not thinking that way of people. I am still rooting for Greono for now, but there are certainly aspects of this that aren't a great look. Creating a new thread and not reviving an old thread every time he restarts so people can see how many times he has abandoned his patrons for example.

The guy apparently is someone who has done really well in business and was just giving him advice, not trying to partner with him from what I saw though someone suggested it.
You're right though bro, from the interaction it seemed like he was saying the same stuff pretty much he identified a lot of holes in his workflow and mentality.
Can you blame him? He makes $2,500 a month for minimal work. He'll keep it up for another 1-2 years until the next remake. Are we on the third or fourth remake now? He has a money-making machine and people are paying for it. He's been doing this for years and has earned thousands of dollars. I'm slowly starting to respect him for realizing how easy it is to fool people.

I think you can because if he actually did the work he'd be making A LOT more money than that bro. It's pretty dumb IMO to not try and build the game out if he's making that much for next to no content, imagine if the game was actually fletched out.
Even if he took a portion of his earnings to hire someone to make the game for him as people suggested on discord he'd end up making way more.
He actually was just about to remake it AGAIN with AI but everyone flipped out. He was making a bunch of excuses which really just came across as him being lazy and ungrateful.
