There's a bug. You'll ever miss an opportunity with her until this bug is fixed. You can't choose her in the never ever game, but in the endscreen you get a point for not choosing her.

What are you even talking about?
Of course there are sandbox avns which are waaaaay worse in the design of the sandbox. I strongly guess the player wouldnt play them.
Here it is tolerable enough to still play the avn but its still shit

Sandbox, like NTR, is grossly misunderstood on this forum. This game is flagged as sandbox yet there is no true sandbox. I can name a bunch of AVNs who are flagged as sandbox with no sandbox. BaDIK is a prime example. So yes. Technically this is not a sandbox game but that does not prevent people from mislabeling it. The post in question was answering a users post where they asked about the sandbox, which in this AVN, refers to the free roam.
I normally filter out sandbox AVNs, which is why I didn't even find this game for so long. I went looking specifically for Drifty games and found this. I only tried it because it was Drifty and there are some really good sandbox games out there like Desert Stalker so I am not totally opposed to them but most of them are crap and not implemented well.
So yes, technically you are correct, but for the initial response, it was a bit of a misleading answer.

I still haven't played Ep3 yet but can someone refresh my memory - I vaguely recall that the character perks system is being eliminated. Is that correct? That was by far the most annoying part of the game for me.

it is, well, mostly.
now there are only remains (two types of mc personality), which mainly add a flavor to the game.
overall, way better game "flow" now, than it was in the early days.
only if the dev would cut off (or tune down) those, for me, annyoing and quite useless cameos (another veteran, yet tastes differ), and even more those 4th wall breaking "bugs" (his attempts to be funny, i guess), the game would be even better.
