Here's the kicker:

The MC arrives at the island on a yacht named U4ia, bequeathed to him by his mother.

If the MC chooses to sink the yacht, then how will his father reset the MC's arrival without it?

Sink yacht: arrive on same flight as Sea?

Don't sink yacht: arrive on U4ia again? Have the option to sink it again?
You don't think the head of a $50 billion company can afford to buy another boat? :WeSmart:

So, you think West has a pier full of u4ia yachts identical to the one bequeathed to the MC by his dead mother...?
Why would they even need to be identical to begin with? And how do we know that the whole "bequeathed by his mother" idea isn't planted into his mind ala inception? I mean, we are dealng with sci-fi elements not available in the real world to begin with. :WeSmart:

same kind yachts are dime in dozen and daddy "dearest" would only rename that yacht to same when mc is "arriving" to island "1st" time.

Is the DLC for the U4iA - In game walkthrough mod/guide and unlocker available anywhere?
The Dlc comes out on the 10th together with the full release on GoG & Patreon.
Drifty waited because these 2 releases will be including any bug fixes that come up on Steam.
So if you want the DLC here on f95, you must wait till at least October 10th.
The Steam version on this moment is the only one with the dlc in it.

I know its out on Steam, I did not say it is not (I bought the game).
I said release with dlc and bug fixes (if needed) comes to Gog and Patreon on October 10th.
On this date Steam also gets a bug fix update (if needed).
And I think Gorgor wants to know when the free version of the DLC is here on f95 ;)
And since you won`t find any Steam versions here, the 'free' version will not come out before October 10th.

Because nothing in the game so far suggests West et al can implant fake memories. Rather, Ana has the ability to delete recent memories. The mechanics of this aren't explained yet (and possibly won't be).

In some ways, fake memory implantation would paper over a lot of current plot holes.

However, West (provided he's telling the truth) says he went to great lengths to use real-world subliminal persuasion (not fake memory implants) and a network of helpers to influence, manipulate, and control the actions of various characters.

We don't even know how Sea's "resets" work, other than knowing she wakes up on a plane with no memory of her previous arrivals and time on the Island. Therein lies one of the current plot holes. West can only maintain an illusion after resetting Sea within a closed and controlled system. Yet, Sea has contact with people in the outside world (as witnessed by the MC's telephone conversation with CeCe), and one conversation could bring the whole illusion down: Sea: "I am really enjoying my time here since arriving last week." CeCe: "Sea, what are you talking about? You've been there a month."

It depends on how much time West has to reset his son and if he planned in advance a need for a replacement yacht (or having assets on hand to raise the sunken yacht). Yes, West is rich and can buy a replacement and he can fit it out like the original (so his son won't notice the difference), but he still needs time to arrange all that and get to to the island.

IF the MC in the prologue "dream" is the same as the current-time MC, then it seems the MC has been reset many times, with the "dream" time being no less than 11 months before the current in game time. If the MC has been reset many times and has arrived back at the Island the same way, then how many yachts has the MC chosen to sink?

Anyone who has the Steam Walkthrough DLC will have noticed this warning about sinking the Yacht:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

This suggests no yacht will be available to the MC in the future. This surely includes any "replacement" yachts.

As much as I would love for Season 2 to open with the MC "arriving" at the Island exactly like to did in Chapter 1, I am not so sure it will happen because it creates far too many plot holes.

The ONLY way those plot holes can be avoided is if the MC and EVERY friend of the MC get fake memory implants like Cabin Fever suggested.

Nothing in the game suggested that we are dealing with more than just some drugs neither until this episode. That pretty much completely invalidates the idea if it hasn't been hinted at in the game yet, it can't possibly happen.

If nothing else, Sea being reset so many times would imply some sort of memory implantation, because otherwise a simple look at the calendar would tell her something is wrong, that her memories doesn't match up with the number of days she's been at the island.

In any case, I'm not advocating that season 2 would start the way I described. Just merely saying it would not surprise me if it did.

jetskit's keys are in shower on right side of that hut but you need good timing to get to see best scene there.

well daddy asshole is filthy rich (bill gates level not elon musk) so as many as needed and on some he might have sold it.

Well, when West used the word, "reset" I wondered if this version of Sea is one of the 30, and the real Sea - having "the gene" - is hidden away in a lab somewhere.

What we don't know is if we're dealing with major plot holes or if we are gonna get mind-fucked when it all fits together and makes sense. The problem I have with memory implantation is that, as much as it can fix certain plot holes, it creates others. Like, why would West go to so much trouble creating a scenario where Jackie rescues the MC from a hospital/lab and absconds him to the island, when West could've just taken him to the island himself and implanted any memories he wanted? Even with memory implantation, Sea's contact with CeCe on the outside kinda nullifies all that, unless West is omnipotent and can change ANYONE's memories ANYWHERE at will.

As you say, episode 4 changed everything.
