Well this was a surprise...what an excellent story. Though I would suggest to the dev, add the dating sim tag...because MC is going out and juggling relationships with a number of girls.

Yeah I caught the posters, and the movie was kinda in your face
so there's no way I could have missed that, but I haven't played the last couple of updates for Single Again lately...need to catch up. Funny thing is that after this, I played the update for Origin Story and THEY mentioned the Eternum movie too *heh*

I would rather make Kayla non-romanceable for the story. If we choose to make Kayla not related to MC, then it will definitely taint their memories towards Kayla's mom. In this case, either she is a lying bitch or just a slut that fuck around, or both which is worse. Kinda sad that Dev is dead set against Kayla be a LI if she is the real daughter. Anyway, it still worth a try.

Everyone keeps thinking that the only way Kayla could not be the MC's is if Sharron is either a "lying bitch" or a cheater... There's another option, trust me. I didn't write this story just to ruin it. Have faith and... wait for iiiiiiiiiiiiit!

So you totally don't understand why I initial said that based on my assumption. But the Dev clarify it is not the case, so I dropped it.
Danm thought the game was pretty goo until the point i had gotten too but i somehow missed that there wont be a harem so ultimately its not for me.

Well, I like the story so far. Looking forward to more.
As for issues, there are a few. Some of the renders are quite grainy. There's a weird tendendy to sometimes capitalize words mid-sentence (mostly the word 'if' in the early parts, later also others), or start a sentence with lowercase. And, of course, vocative commas are missing all over the script.
Anyway, I'm adding this one to my watchlist. Good luck, dev.

Dang it and here I was playing this game assuming it had harem route. My bad for assuming it for whatever reason.
Now Kayla to be a Li she can't be mc daughter that's another knife to my heart and something I will not enjoy too. That way Sharon will not just have one Daughter that's isn't mc but two and that will just kill interest in mc and Sharon love story and paint her in a bad light for me.
Even tough I was liking the game I will drop it for that two reasons, since I don't play games without harem route and Kayla to be a LI she will need to not be mc daughter.
I enjoyed what I played good job on that, would just say to use less black screens because I think there are too many, I didn't like the majority of the expressions they seemed over the top and weird, other than that good job.
Since I will not continue playing could you just tell why mc didn't get together again with Sharon and why she had gone to another dude ? It's what confuses me more since they were so in love. Supposedly would just be 1 year apart so why they didn't reconnect again ?

Really don't know how Dev gonna explain this in future episodes without harming the images of Sharon. Either Kayla is adopted or (hope not) another rape victim story.

as for not reconnecting, iirc MC tried to, but was ghosted so he gave up and moved on with his life. We'll probably get the reasons later on as flashbacks or something.
For the harem part, while it's true that it's not a "real" harem, you are free to pursue whomever you want (probably for the majority of the game?) so it's close enough

Yeah i was more confused why the ghosting since they we're supposedly so much in love and if I'm not mistaken Sharon was very sure they would meet 1 year later, I think that was a line about it in the flashback of them younger in the gas station.
Yeah I know now mc can play the field till later on but then he will have to choose and that's the part I will not like since I don't like to choose between girls in my avn playthrough, it's simply just not for me or my way of playing avn .
Either way was fun to play .
Other thing I forgot to mention that I didn't like very much was the sex scenes, they lacked substance for me and should be more expanded. For example Jackie sex scene just goes from they talking to him being balls deep in her in the next render and then you find you are fucking her ass in the next render, so yeah it's a bit detached the sex scenes and I do love anal sex the problem isn't that but the flow of the scene it self.

you are not wrong about that, not the strongest point of the game, but it doesn't really matter to me, not why I play most AVNs.

I will never understand why people who seem only (or mostly) interested in a particular genera get disappointed and complain when they try a game that never even implies it's going to have the tag they're most interested in.
If you're only interested in "the thing", don't try games that don't say they're going to have "the thing" and definitely don't bother complaining.

But..
I would say - It's a very subtle (no) way to pressure Dev into shaping his game according to their wishes.
And unfortunately sometimes it works, especially with a rookie Developers, They check the thread, see a bunch of people "demanding" harem or complaining about some fetishes and here we go... they start changing the game instead to sticking to their own vision.

I am working on a side project that will have both harem and incest for those who are interested in that, but as of yet it consists only of a 4 scene introduction and is only available for supporters through discord or on Subscribe Star. I work on it for a few days here and there when I am feeling burned out on UC8. It helps me clear my mind and refocus. Unlike UC8 it will not have Chapters and Episodes, It will have Seasons and Acts. I am currently working on Season one Act one of it. Act one will have 9-10 scenes. All the Acts will be short chunks like that and will come out as they are finished with UC8 remaining my primary focus. I am toying with the idea of going ahead and posting the intro here, but it is currently so short that I don't think it would get much attention. Eventually it will probably end up here. It's called Relative Terms. The tag line is...I know it's a rhetorical question

OK, I think my semi-sarcasm in a previous post was taken in a wrong way))
Probably me, not being a native speaker, shows, my bad.
Personally, besides few exceptions I don't play harem games, for me - it's hard to take seriously harem-endings in a games, unless it's some kind of dystopian setting or smth. Also I'm indifferent to incest.
While answering to Elhemeer's post my main point was that players by complaining that game doesn't have their kinks/settngs try to create a pressure on Developers.
P.S. And I like UC8 btw, it's a very enjoyable game.
