the dev recently paywalled the content for his games. this pissed off alot of people including the mods on this site. as payback the mods decided that promoting (being on the latest updated page) the game will now be prohibited.

as for the 4 years, from a website developer perspective it an easier way to just add some years to the last promotion date than changing the database to include a flag which games are prohibited or not.

most people will never go 4 years back in teh latest update page, maybe 10 pages but that is round about half a month to one month timepsan
