The remake will be released on Steam; in that case, there can't be any non-consensual content, so rape tag is out of the picture. I doubt Unaware would have the time to maintain two separate builds for the uncensored Patreon and SubscribeStar versions vs. the censored/mainstream Steam build.

There will be sexual harassment and groping at least, because the game would feel empty without it, let's be honest.

The NPC behaviour looks excellent! From the sneak peeks, I can tell these behaviors already exist, but it would be fun if there were a variety of tiers of NPCs, if Jane decides to expose herself in public:

1. Decent folks: These are disgusted by Jane and walk past her hurriedly. They have no interest in her, and they keep their distance. Decent women will call the cops, or may even intervene and stop Jane from being exposed or save her from gropers.
2. Sightseers: Not in a traditional sense, but they take pictures/videos of her, maybe encourage her to expose herself more.
3. Voyeurs: They watch from afar and enjoy themselves, but they don't approach Jane.
4. Gropers: These NPCs will dare to approach Jane and start groping her if she stays exposed. If she quickly dresses back, though, they won't grope her.
5. Harassers: These NPCs are genuinely looking to harass Jane in any manner possible. They will continue to undress and escalate the situation the more Jane allows it, without stopping them or attempting to escape.
6. Thugs or Criminals: If these are planned, maybe they could take Jane at a different location, like an alleyway, lift, or a nearby washroom, to take it further.

Aside from this, the groping at Kevin's restaurant is amazing. It's a bit zoomed out to really enjoy when it happens, but I understand that if the camera zoomed in every time it happened, it would be very jarring to see. I really like the breast groping when it happens in the 3D perspective, much more than the 2D.

Why? Already the current game has a extra steam version. So different builds need to be done. I believe there is yet not much difference (which is likely why it's banned in few countries), but excluding content is actually fairly simple.

EDIT: to be fair just making use of a variable is not necessary enough. For a steam review it may, but if they get reports that content is there, unlock-able by modding ... But you can use

As stated in the devlog - the world is going to hell.

Patreon blocked my devlog despite it being censored and available only to free followers. Back in the day everything was fine, then they told me to censor pictures, then censored words were added, later they forced people to become followers first, and now it also needs to be paywalled. So the next step is…? Yeah, full censorship even in paywalled posts.

Steam won’t let me create DLCs, do Early Access, or promote my demo in Steam Next Fest.

itch.io has already delisted my game from the search bar, so you can find it through Google, but not through their site.

Only SubscribeStar lads didn't change anything, so big kudos to them.

It’s not really simple. I would need to cut the whole project into chunks using Addressables, basically like DLC. It’s not a Ren’Py or RPGM game where I can just hide a scene or CG. The entire game is literally built around NSFW content. Whatever you do has some NSFW element, it’s everywhere. And even if I took my time, tried to mark and cut out everything, and put it into DLC, there’s no guarantee I wouldn’t overlook something and get banned… And the project is already hard as fuck to maintain.

You pretty much explained how it’s more or less going to work It uses a weighted system based on Gender & NPC Class, further altered by their stats & traits (high Lust, Libido, scaredy-cat Trait, etc.). So a Male Thug has about x2 grope chance, while a Male Citizen only has x0.5. A Female Citizen will call the cops or run away more often, etc.

Possible outcomes (currently) are:

• Ignore (they keep walking)
• Attention (they stop and try to grasp the situation)
• Curious (they come closer and observe)
• Record (they take out their phone and start recording, damaging Jane’s reputation)
• Call cops (they call the police, increasing the chance of police NPCs spawning)
• Masturbate (they start masturbating, greatly increasing their Lust)
• Chase (they start chasing Jane and try to grope her)

These states get rerolled every X seconds, so if they build enough Lust and Jane’s Charm is high, there’s a really high chance they’ll go the NSFW route. That’s why getting completely naked in a busy street basically means no running away.

And it can end in three ways: escaping, climaxing, or getting arrested.
If you escape - good for you, the location resets, etc.
If you climax - the NPC who helped you will take you to a random place and continue with you there.
If you get arrested - you end up in prison, but since prison is planned for a much later update, for now she’ll just lose a few days and some stats, unless she bribed the cop, etc.

Regarding the jarring issues - a lot of things can be polished later, but right now I’m more focused on making the game actually work. I don’t really care if some bugs happen, since the game is in pre-alpha and not officially being sold. Some things can be fixed in minutes, others take weeks. I know people will talk, joke that it’s becoming Project Zomboid, or even straight-up flame the project, but there’s always a risk of having to scrap or rework a feature at this stage of development. So I might end up wasting a lot of time polishing something that gets deleted in the end.

I didn't mean complete NSFW content though, just the ones that are forbidden by steam regulations (Generally that is: rape, sexual violence, non-consensual, incest and of course child abuse. Further some games got removed/blocked claiming it was due to more dark content - f.e. slavery, torture, dehumanization. But I also read there shall be a clause if there is basically adult content only too, so who knows.

Anyway what I meant is if you use assembly definitions on just that content (which isn't that much imo), of course also remove all tags that go in that direction, all that what payment processors definitely don't like, wouldn't be in the game. Same could also go for patreon/itch as roughly same things are blocked there too (mostly when some reports but ... ). While Subscribstar (for now) can enjoy it fully (and a file easy to be made using such build tags, somewhere on the net, could also restore content. That's also not against their rules - for now. The basic rule here is - because Steam doesn't provide it. On if that's enough for the future is unclear. Btw. that idea of a DLC cant be on steam.)

Else I don't see it possible to include everything UITC has to be in the game. (Rick f.e. dunno how to tone down that? "Oh she actually likes it all, it's fully consent"? Yeah, sure. Kink fulfilled. And just to be clear - Steam reviewers (and payment processors) do not accept “it becomes consensual later” as a justification. Also it may sounds like it, but I am not a fan -of payment processors, religious groups and whatnot interfering, order what to like etc.- either, just stating how it is.)

A chat-bot meant " If a story includes unwanted touching, harassment, coercion, or anything that begins as non-consensual, Steam will very likely treat it as sexual violence / non-consensual sexual content, even if later the character “seeks it” or “enjoys it.” "
If that's the case - that needs to be toned down for real or a case of "different intro for steam & co builds". Which will introduce more effort and hard to coordinate.

Even NSFW itself is risky, so just making a patch for 'uncensored' is best go to, as any NSFW can get you booted anyways so yeah... Fucked up regardless which route you go

Yeah ... remove all that, with really heavy work to catch everything Mr Unaware basically said he wont, sell a near empty game, one no one will find on steam, if they search for xxx, while your have to tell legal buyers what they actually bought. That sure will be the best solution.

I admit that my posts on f95 are kinda long. Still, I write like 1 sentence for each 10 I might say. Reading the only thing the dev of this game came to post here after some silence, the Progress Report #145 (I chose the Itch link), in which the dev talks about the Revisited game (aside describing his financial, living, family and health situation), I almost passed out.
And it really shut me up, I'm afraid;-) What I did grasp from it all is that the dev is firmly set on developing those aspects of the game I wish they would abandon. I am not that kind of a player. Even if they plan to implement many things I wanted, they'll do that in a way that's not enjoyable. Mostly, to be short, I don't like how the game looks, so I won't be willing to play a demanding game (nothing will be easy, not even the most basic tasks) which does not appeal to me. It's not like with City, to which I kind of transfered from World, complaining about this and that, but still trying it out, still playing. I kinda refuse to play this one...

Okay, this is my final cue to leave. There are other games;-)
Maybe if there is some more update on the City which is worth it (not like just cuni which we cannot see), let me know, I might check it out (though I kinda lost hope). But I'm not hopping on the Revisited train.
