My :sad: reaction comes from the "optional". This will create a ton of splits that all will have to be rendered and wrote, increasing Dev time, game size and less play time. I understand why the "optional" is needed, that doesn't mean that I have to like the consequences. Making allowances for people that can't/won't/don't want to play the game the Dev set out to make, is a strain on resources, I accept that they are a way to include them, but, it means that everyone gets shafted because of it.
