In the current version there's three now. Dealer the Witch, your sister Alice, and the merchant Herba. Though Dealer doesn't show up in the current version except for the intro.
The current version also include the Dealer, because you can switch between episode I and Episode II.

I think that just means he is confident in the game. You're reading too much into that if you think it means something is going to be released or whatever.
I only think a small short video will come, definitely not expecting anything playable till early 2024 at best, I'm just hoping this month he shows a small video and if not oh well

as I tought...

Thank you for your continued support, I'm NumericGazer.
This month we mainly did the following
・Background
・Motion
・Game part
Background
Concept:

・Concept art: Liese's (Succubus) room

It's great that it matches the character design.
Motion
Animator:
Some of Kuro's combat motions are ready. In the previous work, we used assets from the marketplace for attack-type motions, but this time we created unique character-specific motions from scratch.

Game Part
This month, I started creating the game in order from the start part of the game, such as title, opening scene, and game start. This means that we have finally stepped into the stage of connecting the assets that have been created so far and turning them into a game. Right now, I am working on the opening cut scene.

Schedule for next month

I will continue to produce games next month as I did this month.

let them cook
Look.
I mean im just a filthy unappreciative coomer consumer and all but someone should really sit this guy down and have the tough love discussion about how not a single person cares about the complex level design, quest system or the pseudo final fantasy tier fetch items gameplay and graphics or whatever and that everyone just wants to watch the goth chick step on dick.
The crumbs of H content that slips through his monthly posts of pure autism obsessing over pillar and tower designs maybe 2 people will stop to glance at while holding their dicks are the only thing keeping this game relevant.

Agreed, really wish more devs would focus more on the reason why people play these games. A couple of my favorite games have been indefinitely delayed because the creater obsessively writes and rewrites dialogue until they feel it’s perfect to them when I reality a lot of people are prob just blowing past it to get to the coom scenes

Couldn't have said it better. I can't help but think how many characters and animations could have been made if he just kept using the formula we saw in the 2018 demo with the original witch. Just a simple turn based combat with a clean background, nothing more was ever needed.

All these points are valid. But don't we already have multiple porn games that are just about having a glorified animation gallery with tacked on battle gameplay?

Under the Witch is interesting because it's trying to be an actual game without going the classical text-based/vn nor rpgmaker route and neither trying to be whatever Subverse is.
You might be displeased with it now. But if we give them time, let them cook, it could give way to one of these games you could almost proudly recommend.

The first part was already promising imo, even though feeling unfinished and kind of unfocused. It was a clear prototype and mishmash of ideas that together didn't add much. Making it seem inferior to the previous demo which was, in retrospective, beautifully animated but very bland content wise.

What they're showing right now though, it seems to be a better designed experience with an actual complete roadmap and plan with coherence in the making process. They stopped throwing ideas together and gone is the useless open world and fetch quests as they are going for pretty small interior levels, what seems to be an explorable castle with rooms and interactive content. And designed around the interactions with the witches, as they seem to have become front and center to the project. Maybe I'm missing some parts though.
