Yep, though I hope with the progress on the next two witches we'll see a big enough update to last us to the next one. My brain on the other hand, tells me that we will just be getting the first "open-world" levels, and nothing else.
I'd bet the next update, next planned update, if not begged for and released early, will be open world, have the blond witch, and the fat merchant.

Well, though the update will be big, it will never be enough to last to the next one. People experience all contents of a game in a much shorter time than develope it. Once everything has been played, people will seek for the next update for new content.

I don't understand why it seems some of you can't just play other stuff while you wait for this instead of trashing it for its development. Bookmark it and check back every month or two lol. They're independant creators, you'll be seeing slow development cycles a lot more. :p
And as independant creators they need our support to help them develop the game, as I commented on his patreon, I'm not okay with the direction of the development and the focus on some questionable stuff ergo I'm dropping my pledge after this month progress report.
I'm glad that I'm not the only patreon that thinks the same and I hope this makes numericgazer and his team to focus on an early build or a small demo.

Numeric throwing a bunch of different features in the game will cause the quality of other more important features of the game to fall.

What he had going with the 1 on 1 battles was nice and simple.

I mean, I love an open-world game, but he's being too ambitious with this. I would've been fine if it was small boss levels like with Tower of Trample where it's just the lady and a couple interactable bits and pieces around the level.

It's his game so he can choose what he wants to do, but he'll be losing fan interest if the game gets an update every half a year, and with the progress updates being only once a month.

If that's his vision of the game, why would you censor it? Let him create and let's see what happens, instead of criticize or hate a game because of his ambition.

Where in that post did I "hate" on the game? I never said for him to stop making it, I only said for him to be aware that long lengths of no updates can hurt the fan base, and that throwing so many features in a game will only increase the length between updates. I really don't care what he does with the game, just giving feedback not hate.

You are criticizing a vision of a game maker, which is never ok. It's ok to give a feedback of what you think, but saying "don't make it too long" or "make it that way" it's nonsense.

Reminds me of those Last Of Us Part II defenders. Immediately jumping to conclusions, calling the other 'hater'.
Actually it's not. And as far as i know, the ones jumping to conclusions are actually the "The Last of Us 2" haters, but i don't want to go off topic.

Dude, I said in the post " It's his game so he can choose what he wants to do " And I never said to make the game short or forced him in anyway to choose a way to make his game.

Each of my posts have always been feedback, and criticizing a game is part of feedback. If you honestly think criticism as a whole should cease to exist, you are part of the problem mate.

Did you even read my posts?

This is not criticism. This is saying something subjective as something objective.
It's okay to be doubtful about something the author wants in his game, but you don't know if "it will fail" or not.
