so it turns out the current Walkthrough Mod is causing script errors that is blacking out the screen during sex scenes and also preventing the scene replay screen from being accessed.
once i removed the W/mod i had no issues with seeing the scenes during gameplay or accessing the scene replay screen.
just thought id let you know
