Im confused about this as well I thought Liz was Kat and Jamies mother but I guess thats not the case and they have someone else who is there mother, so is she just a family friend?

No, she's a family friend.
Kat and Jamie's mother is in the game, she is the woman that designs boats, she had a whole scene with them talking about the plan to save Liz.

I completed posing the chapter 1 end sequence for Altered Bloodlines on Saturday, completing all posing and animation work for the next release. All images are rendered and all four angles of the first animation are rendered as well. I'm currently rendering the second animation, with the first angle done and the second just over half way. Everything is still on track to release the completed chapter 1 by Christmas.
I started working on the artwork for Unexpected Consequences Chapter 5 this morning and I am making good progress on the opening scene of the chapter. This first scene is a long one with a large cast and variations due to choices, so it will probably take about two weeks for me to finish the artwork for it. My goal is to have the first day of chapter 5 completed by the end of the month and the second day completed around the middle of January. I plan to include these first two days in Unexpected Consequences 0.20 and release it by the end of January.
I have to agree, For me its mostly the hair. Short hair just isn't as appealing as longer hair. She still looks ok, but was better before. Still looks better than Alice, whose main issue is the abnormally stretched model.

I can see that bte i do like longer hair style but is not even that cus there is plenty of hoy characters with short hair if you put her model next to her old one she feels off still love the game.

No need, there's already incest in the game. Unlike most games that need a patch that don't make a lot of sense without it, this game would make no sense if a patch was added changing peoples relations

I'm still working on the first scene of Unexpected Consequences Chapter 5. I'm making good progress and expect to finish posing it around Wednesday. On Altered Bloodlines, the second angle of the fourth animation is currently rendering and at the moment, I'm tentatively aiming for next Tuesday for the release of the next update.
This month's renders featuring Alex and Luci are all posed and currently rendering. I plan to post this month's renders on Thursday.
Finally, the image at the top is a scaled and cropped version of one of bonus renders I posted this morning. Bonus renders are a new reward for Fan and Super Fan tiers. Bonus renders will be similar to the monthly renders, but not necessarily all 16x9 ratio and all images within a single bonus renders release will feature the same character(s), poses, and environment with only variations in wardrobe and camera.

The final animation render finished last night and finalized the next update for Altered Bloodlines today. Everything is all set and the next update with the completed chapter 1 will be released tomorrow, December 23rd at 21:00 UTC for Fan and Super Fan tiers. Supporters will gain access on the 30th and Observers on January 6th.
On the Unexpected Consequences front, I am continuing to work on the first day of chapter 5. I'm happy with my progress so far and how everything is turning out. I'm really excited for where the story is going in these final two chapters and the epilogue and can't wait for you to experience it all. Everything is still on track to release the next update with the first two days of chapter 5 by the end of January, and I still hope to complete the game by the end of next year.

I have completed the artwork for the first three scenes of Unexpected Consequences Chapter 5 and I am currently working on the fourth and final scene of the first day of chapter 5. I'm currently about half way done with the first and longest of three versions of the scene. I expect to finish this version tomorrow and start on the second version. I also expect to have all third version finished Wednesday.
I will start work on the first scene of the second day of chapter 5 in the new year. The second day will take place at a new location, and I did already begin work on the new set over the weekend once I finished up Liz's new wallpapers for this week. Overall, I'm very pleased with how the first chapter 5 update of Unexpected Consequences is coming along and still fully anticipate releasing it by the end of January.
