If players dislike the game, it’s not their fault. The story, mechanics, and rendering are all developer choices. Players react to what they experience.
Criticism isn’t just noise; it’s feedback. If many players share the same concerns, maybe the issue isn’t the audience—it’s the execution.
Blaming players won’t fix anything. Either set clear expectations from the start or be open to adjustments. Otherwise, people will just move on.
Players don’t randomly decide to dislike a game. Their reactions are based on how it’s written, structured, and presented. If a significant number of players are raising concerns, it’s worth looking at what went wrong rather than dismissing their opinions.
That said, you don’t need to justify your creative choices to everyone, just like players don’t need to justify their preferences. If the game turns out well and stays true to your promises, then great. If not, people will naturally move on.

Spell checks are needed. The English as far as I can tell was accurate but, spelling errors were numerous. Seems like this was made by a nonnative speaker or it was possibly rushed... also agree with questions that were posted it would be nice to have planned or future tags mentioned so we have an idea of what to expect as players. Nice models renders could use a bit of polish as already mentioned but overall there is potential here so good luck dev.

EDIT: Well, first of all this needs the Voyeur tag and Kinetic Novel....leaving that aside this looks like it's going to be more of a corruption game, btw, the name of the Mc can't be changed (his name is Kewin) and acts like he's 10 years old.

I'm not playing as someone named "Kewin".

An interesting, if not a little short, start. It does set up the basis story, so it could be interesting. One thing, please let us change the name of the MC. Kewin is just not doing it for me.

Download Visual Studio Code. Open the file "script.rpy" in the "game" folder & change all instances of "Kewin" to whatever you want the MC's name to be.
I can't be bothered writing a patch to change the code so you can select a name.

Yeaaah even after changing the script & then loading the game I found I can't keep going.

The characters all have very wooden, almost daz-default, expressions plus there's no lead-in to the story; it just kicks off.
There's no time to empathize/identify with the MC. It's like watching a bad D-roll porno sketch.
