Why does this game not have the abandoned tag at this point? It certainly warrants it. The developer has been silent on Patreon since April and not active on Discord since May.

Still collecting monthly payments though from his charitable supporters.
This creator has done this before. Gone quiet for a long period of time, or promising that an update was right around the corner with the work 90% of the way done only to repeat the same message the next month. It took almost a full year for 0.4 to go from alpha to final when two weeks after alpha was released BD said they were almost done.

The game might not be dead right now, but as it is mentioned in the both funny and cynic sailors song I quoted the first line from, it is as good as dead.

I hear you. Hopefully he does come back. I'm just saying that based on site rules this game deserves the abandoned tag. The developer hasn't been heard from or posted anything, anywhere related to the game in more than 3 months. I'll keep it my watch list regardless.

Hey guys, I’m finally back with some news.
Today I will keep things short and straight. Probably, not all of you are going to like it.
First of all, I want to say that I felt quite bad for not delivering, and I was even a bit embarrassed to read your messages. I know you’ve been expecting updates, but the hard truth I realized is that I can’t meet those expectations in the current state of things.
So, I took some time over the summer to think about the future of this project, and here are my thoughts:
  • If I want this project to stay alive, I need to deliver faster.
  • Working part-time, I simply can’t maintain a game with endlessly branching storylines.
  • I’m not sure I could push this full-time either, because some branches lead into stories I don’t feel motivated to finish.
  • I don’t enjoy the previous writing style. I want the story to feel more dynamic, with sharper twists and faster development. Describing every small detail just kills the momentum.
  • Tons of other micro-issues that complicates the game development.
But the most important is this: when I first started visual novels, I wanted to create my own corruption story — tempting, depraving, and even heartbreaking. Today, I feel that my focus is being shifted to other secondary things.
That’s why I’ve decided to pivot the game. I’m now working on a new project called “Fiancee”.
Here’s what I can share right now:
  • It will still be Diana’s corruption story, but without big branching choices deciding the outcome. Though, small interactive moments will stay (like picking outfits, etc.).
  • Dialogues will be shorter and story told in first-person, with Diana as the narrator.
  • Most characters will remain, though some will change. And there will be new ones.
  • I already have the full corruption scenario drafted, so there won’t be moments where I get stuck figuring out “what’s next.”
  • Other characters’ stories will also appear, perhaps they will still be told from Diana’s perspective.
It is already under development, and in the next update, I will give you more details. Eventually, it will be a corruption game with a strong story-telling, but in a linear format.

First, the dev will rework the "plot", well, the plot will be reworked, add "new" text from the perspective of the FMC-Diana.
That is, the plot will be subject to editing. But the visual part will remain, many elements will be cut out, we will get another Slut FMC simulator where the choice of Diana will determine what we will see on the screen.
The worst thing is that this story will be reworked, it will take more than one year for the plot of the reworked story to approach the plot of the main game and then we can get a similar post and the project will be abandoned - because the dev has no ideas! Or simply a desire to continue the project!

So this will be another miserable kinetic novel without any choice? No thanks.
There can still be choices in a linear game, they just don't lead to different routes. Diana's choices will possibly determine whether they get married or not? So in other words she gets too corrupted they split up, she gets less corrupted their relationship survives? That would be a simpler way of structuring this game, and still give the player some choice to determine the outcome.

First, the dev will rework the "plot", well, the plot will be reworked, add "new" text from the perspective of the FMC-Diana.

Yeah well, at least they are not giving up on the project. There are two many abandoned games which means that the dev have the motivation to continue the game.
