What a shame. There's a lot I wanted from this game - and I would have honestly been satisfied with a much smaller game with just you and one of the characters of choice...

But the scope was always kind of harrowing. I still remember one of the earlier versions and just how broad the game already was trying to be. I don't think I ever expected it to be finished, but I am still sad they've quit working on it. Mechanically I've a lot of issues with this game - frankly it's just too big and clunky. But the dev put down really interesting characters, I was pretty hooked..

i place here my hopes that some insane person continues this game
Hmm. Idk how I'd feel about that. On one hand, it's a great story, with great potential. On the other hand, sometimes it's better to let it rest. If there was a willing developer, and DeepInteractivity(DI) was willing to somewhat passively "oversee" their progress, I'd subscribe to a patreon with that in mind. But, I'm not sure DI would even want to do that.

In other somewhat-related news, DI is releasing "Shelved Plans" every couple weeks on his Discord Server.

, about how the Shartrish Slopes (Nash's home) arc was planned to finish.
Then explores the Leirien habitat (Mir's home) and the plot that was going to occur when you're down there. Actually some really nice ideas there.

Link to the Discord is in the thread's opening message.

The longer a project goes on for the higher chance it will be abandoned.
Just like life the longer someone lives the higher chance they will die.
Oh yea. I had worries this would come to an end just for the fact we weren't 1/6th of the way through the story and it took DI like 3 years. It's a shame, but it's not that surprising, I guess.

I mean, would I want to be working on the same thing, or playing the same game in 5 years? It really is a long time.

I was somewhat hoping since a lot of the work was around fleshing out the AI, combat system etc that it would speed up somewhat once the nuts and bolts were set up. Such is life i guess.
