This game is crying out for some kind of "hard mode" where resource management actually matters. As it stands you can pretty much just grind through and combat is mindless. Paying for lodging is too trivial. Instead of resorting to lewd stuff to survive, you're just doing it on a whim.
I can so clearly picture an alternate version where you have to walk the razor's edge of chipping away at the dungeon and scraping together ends meet, with fewer but more involved combat encounters.
