Yes, when you explore dungeons and open chests you have chance to get one of these abilities, which go into your ability slots (max at 5). They have a variety of effects, including stat boosts. Some increases trap dodging skills, lock picking chance, stamina consumption etc... Some even let you have better chance at opening chests to get rarer abilities. So just play the game and you will see them
How do you increase prayer power?
Also regarding the str weapon scaling, in the latest patch 1.08 the dev adjusted str weapon dmg scaling (in ci-en patch notes) so they knew about this issue

I was wondering if there any items that affect these stats right here? Like consumable, cause I think I kind of messed up my run and built.
that's with epic grade faith and mp boost i assume? but my assumption was STR builds will outscale that with their SS scaling weapon since they have access to the equivalent of those two abilities too.
It must be related to RNG, I remember the innkeeper accused my character of robbing him (when I did loot the room behind him and his skill checks all turned so high). I think it lasted 3-6 days (not sure) and it returned back to normal. I re checked and the apothecary house is still empty of herbs/ loots (because I robbed it ages ago). It might have procced when I robbed him back then (I did not use the fortune teller much in the early game) and the days passed by and I might not have seen his skill checks increase due to robbing him. But it definitely goes away after a few days pass. Most houses aren't even worth robbing (except for the one time unique items which most of the time is just a bad/mediocre item). Maybe it's also related to fame? My fame is always at high/max.
Edit: tested it again when his flowers respawned and it might have been robbing the flowers that procs him to call the protag a thief. But stealing the one time chest seems fine.
Oh so you can get up to 10 (might be more) PS in a playthrough. You remember where the monuments for purification are? I got 7 so far.

Passive buff. Orphan origin, remain a virgin, pick discipline passive. Inscribed grave, and prayer boosts of the best type. Though you usually have to swap out 2 slots for better loot and protection against battle H. So prayer power usually hovers around 300.
both equipped/consumables can affect these stats, and wdym by messing up your build? what levels are you and whats ur stats
A bit problematic but salvagable. A bit too much on skill, speech and charm is still okay, just roll for either int or str to 50 depend on which build you pick then raise stamina to 30, then back to int or str to 70. 99 if you don't give a damn about side character's endings, then the rest into speech, charm if you play mage, but only until charm reach 45, then switch to speech until it reaches 51-53 depending on how many times have you picked Max as a companion.
Do you know how to get the inscribed grave and pilgrim's wimple? I only have the pilgrim robe. Also I dont have any purple faith buff lmao. Do I just gamba with the statue till I get them? On my 2nd run and somehow im still missing alot of items

I'm level 64 and, I put it into the Negotiations, Beauty and Teq stats, I didn't know that if I put it in specific stat it will make things even more expensive to level up for the other stats. You say that there are consumables right? Would it be perm stats change or it is more of a Temp thing? (P.S if you look at the pictures that I post with it will show you my stats)

Where the fuck is max treasure 2 ?? I read all the walkthrough yet still couldn't find it, anyone have a screenshot ?
Gambling with the statue usually don't yield good results due to not getting any buffs from archeology. If you find your equipment lacking then just equip archeology until you get it's advanced version, then also equip the advanced version until you get the ultimate one. Then equip all three and search on the 1st floor and 2nd floor.
Since you've got the robe, the spear and the wimple is in the other wall that you choose not to explode. That side has more value since the robe can somewhat be replaced by black leather chasity suit and the shield can be replaced by the lava shield on 5th floor.
see that broken bridge with the opened chest bottom right? you need to cross the poison swamp to reach the other half of the bridge, theres another map across. The map im on is the teleport point to the 2nd floor base btw, idk if you have it opened yet, but its on the south eastern side of the swamp tree house/bar
4th floor, enter from the 1st floor, the place you died nearby in the tutorial, the one that already has one statue.
inside oz chapel, unlocked when you have both evil statue, remember the locked door with only 1 statue in the prologue? when you get the 2nd one by exploring go back there and put the statue, the door will open
ok so the faith build is not doable if you dont have the items them, that means its somewhat of an end game build. Whereas str build can works in the early game since you just stack str with levels
