Its a free game. Whilst I agree this release was a bit premature (and its actually the second release) Don't mark the game down on a hunch.
At the moment donating on Patreon just lets you access artwork and have a say in the games development. There is a lot of behind the scenes stuff available for free on the discord channel.
There is talk about patreons getting the beta version of each release but the dev has stated all full releases will be free to everybody.
it's clear that you guys are fans, no problem. my comment wasn't personal. i am also 99% certain that i have backed far more projects than you both have, combined. trust me, this isn't something i'm proud of. i've been burned on literally every single project, other than Good Girl Gone Bad and Defenestration, who both push out decent updates regularly, and that's in my 5+ years of steadily backing adult games. i have given up thousands of dollars backing projects that have started exactly like this. so pardon me being extremely skeptical. again, my choice/my loss. i'm not complaining. i just know what typically happens with games like this. maybe this one will be special and rise above. but i wouldn't count on anything based on what's released here.
as far as "marking the game down", i reviewed it fairly imo, based on what's been released. feel free to 5 star it if you feel it's worth that. i don't. it has 'potential' to be great. but doesn't everything?
even as a "demo", this was a very weak effort based on other games in the similar stage of dev. it could have done with another 6+ months of refining and then been released with a a more hefty foundation to stand on. but as it is, it's disjointed and quite shallow. i wouldn't back this one with your money.

and i said exactly what i didn't like. the writing was shallow, vapid, and senseless. there is missing content. it feels hollow. all things that could have been resolved by more dev time.
i also said some positives. the sprites look great and the animations were awesome to see! so take it for what it is. welcome to the real world, where you get real opinions based on what you put out and ask money for. your own patreon says EXACTLY what i'm talking about and confirms everything i've said about why projects like this bother me.

you want money in trade for motivation. you aren't passionate about your project and it's barely even started. that's not how selling a product works. you don't buy an empty bottle of ketchup to send a message to the people who make ketchup know that you'd actually like a full bottle. and that's why you will fail and your patrons will get burned. please prove me wrong, though. i would love to adjust my rating to 5 stars, seriously! i will 100% change my review, eat crow, and probably even support you monetarily should you see this one through.
You said you can't give it higher than a 2 because its a cash grab, no only is that totally unfair on the Dev but its against the reviewing rules. Review the game not the Dev or the pricing

fair enough, i did word the first line of my review poorly, but it's hardly invalid once you read past the first line. while the cash grab is obvious, it's pretty apparent that i had other dislikes for the rating i gave. i listed horrible writing and lack of content as valid reasons as my dislikes. i also said that i am willing to change my review based upon future content updates. i don't feel i broke any "review rules" as i clearly listed reasons. try reading a bit further down a review next time!
i'd also go as far to say that i'd challenge that review rule if given the chance. when you're taking money for a product, you take everything into account. that is why organizations such as the Better Business Bureau exist. to hold those who offer products and services accountable. people who are taking money can and should be called out on nonsense when it's so obvious. Especially in our community, where good adult games are so hard to find, these devs need to know what kind of practices are acceptable and what aren't.
anyways, the 2 stars i gave were for each of the positives, the sprites and the animations. again, i'm willing to adjust my score should they stick with it and add more content. and anyone else is free to counter my rating with their own if they deem it worth it.

Considering you cited good girl gone bad as a successful project, this style should be right up your alley. Not really sure why you are going HAM on this game. Though I haven't played it so I can't speak for its quality as of yet.

im not going HAM on anything. i made a review, people commented on my review, i replied to comments. nothing crazy has been done, although i never planned on commenting this much. that's only happened because i keep getting quoted but not understood. GGGB has amazing writing and has since the first release. this game has a ton of potential and it IS right up my alley. i wouldnt even bother with reviewing it if i didn't see it as worth my time. i never knew f95 to be such a thin skin zone. we're all here because we like porn games, right? so why not take comments on the chin, especially this early in dev, and just roll with it instead of getting defensive?

nah, you're just clinging to the first line of what i said because you know it's true. dude, look at your patreon. i even quoted part of it, pointing out exactly what's wrong with it. there are so many other projects that are farther along than yours that don't even start a patreon until they have a well established fan base. you on the other hand, are asking for money for motivation, and your game isn't out of the gate yet. reel it back, do some work, then you'll get paid.
my review is solid and stands on it's own, slimy money stuff aside.
I hear you, just saying if I am thinking humiliation I personally would want something like exposing in sleep, or someone getting the MC drunk beyond belief and making a fool of them either drunk sleep sex or coerce them into crazy shit while wasted. Just keep in mind that humiliation is most easily achieved when the MC is not in a fully sober state of mind =P
