URM 1.8 - Path detection
It's ready... URM 1.8. The main new feature in this version is path detection (see screenshot).
This option can show you possible paths, the conditions for those paths and you can select a path even if your conditions don't match.

Found the problem. I had extracted the rpa files with unren to install a different mod and extracted yours too by accident. Removed the 0x52 folder and the "check for updates" worked.
0x52 , man you are awesome man, best modder. I just tried out the new version. It gives us an option to see a path which is not available, so, we can change conditions and see the scenes. You are just GOD in this domain

Got a doozy with The Roommate, this VN sometimes uses a totally different method to show choice menus
- creates a list of options (there are mostly always five, one time 6 options)
- calls a special function to show these menu options.
Just before the call it sets an

When this menu type is used, URM detects only 1 hidden choice. When you then hit the button to show the choices popup, the game throws an error as shown in the attached file. Because the s_options variable is set right before the menu is shown, there's no way to change it in time.
So far this "special menu" only is used 10 times in the whole of the VN and other times it's just the regular choice menu... so it's not that big of an issue other than that you won't know if a choice menu is the regular kind or the "special" kind only after clicking the button to show the choices popup.

0x52 Small request to open the choices and the path detected panel by pressing a key. Something like q or something to open this
without having to click it with the mouse. Or even better to give us an option to assign whatever key we want to it.

Boehser Onkel , I haven't seen you for many days. Hope you are in good health and doing fine. You were a regular in terms of posting and reacting to posts here. Kinda miss you
Their custom menu could have an hidden item "opt_4", which might not actually be defined.
If will prevent this from causing a crash in the next version of URM, it will show up as an hidden choice with the name "[opt_4]".
(fun fact, this crash wouldn't happen if they weren't using Ren'Py 7.4)

Just a heads up for anyone else playing The Roommate, if you install JokerLeader's mod, the difference becomes very much visible. Because only the regular choice menu's will show which attribute points the choices affect

This is because they have modified their Ren'Py code.
I've attached an URM version, that will work.
Please mention the name of the game. Each game has different codes/names.

As Belzeebub said each game has its own variable mostly search for "money,cash,gold" or try to search by values if you can't figure out the variable name
I think it will be best if you use unren(in case of pc) or open console to know the name of the variable. There is another way. Indirectly, if you search the value of money using urm, you can get it. But for that you have to get a unique figure to distinguish it from the other values.
