That's the thing though, almost no character is universally disliked. There's always someone who'll prefer a certain character or body type. Going for a smaller scope might be the solution regardless, but this dev will have to prove himself by finishing something before I'll buy any of his games.

...I haven't played this game for a while but I don't recall this game drowning in LI's? The mom, the sister, the bitchy girl and her mom, and that other girl who hangs out with them and moves into your house at some point. Maybe I'm forgetting a few but 5 girls doesn't seem overwhelming to me.

Agree with others here who say that getting the reputation of a "pump and dump" dev is a bad idea. People tend not to want to invest in games that probably aren't going to be finished.
