I haven't played in a while, what's happening with Natalie and Nikki? Is a character changing in-game to another or??

My post here from this morning gives a summary. Basically Natalie kinda started off in the early game as a possible LI but apparently she's been reduced by the dev as a "fling" only. Nikki was bumped from a possible LI to full-bore set in stone LI, she even gets a new Love stat (for future dev use).

Note: Wait before y'all DL the compressed version of Ext. I believe it's missing all the 2022 Holiday scenes in the gallery. I'm working with FAP to sort it out and fully test.

I'll edit this post once I'm certain it's resolved. I'm on hold until he and I get on the same page... this is important. Hopefully I'm wrong but I do not see the Holiday archives in the compressed anywhere on my end. I'm re-DL'ing just in case to verify again.

Edit: You're good to go. It's the dev. FAP369ZONE work is fine (he and I both tested it as virgin installs). The dev left old code that is throwing me off left and right. An explanation of what started me down this path was the very basic RenPy SDK build instructions. I made a post explaining that here if interested.

The last few hours I've been working hard at chasing my tail tbh. The update new content itself isn't hard to code into the mod, it's the migration of all the many little things that changed and dealing with some leftover garbage VN code that's leading me down dead ends. It's time consuming, thank goodness for whiskey yet again. It affords me tolerance.

They are running a very close race bud... very close. That "Holiday Special" gallery dead end cost me a couple hours... of very precious coding time. I do like this VN though so I won't raise the white flag... no matter how many curve balls the dev throws at me. I'll knock one of those pitches out of the park in a few hours or so.

Okay folks, the entire Extended base code is ported over to SanchoMod Core v7... including all my (hopefully) passable photoshop editing (I had to rebuild some of the screens since the dev updated the menu graphics a bit). Graphics are not my forte but I took my time to do it right:

I realize that this might seem trivial, but the dev changed the Main Menu, the Gallery, etc., so I had to rebuild all that mess and I got cute back in the day and used too many custom graphics thinking he'd never change the UI.... dumbass move on my part

Anyway, time to get sorted on the actual update material... the ChoiceGuide. I'm prepped and have two out of fifteen solid. After that I don't think I have any more polish.... so maybe, just maybe I can get this done before I pass out. I haven't had dinner yet so it'll be a close call.

You can trust me on this Natalie out / Nikki in LI change... the dev even took Natalie out of his phone cheats and put Nikki in place... or I should say Shaddy's old phone cheats.... a story for another day though.

A brief summary of the Sara/Ashley paths can be found here. I'll do my best to detail that further in the ChoiceGuide but I must go back to U19 and update that a bit... I couldn't tell the future (and still can't).

Folks, I've been at this for over 16hrs straight according to the time of my post here. I need to get a meal and think of how to properly code this damn Sara/Ash bit. For AshleySolo you basically can't be on Sara's path at all so I have to go back quite a ways. Maybe I just make a quick "SanchoNote" in that particular Sara choice long ago around the tennis event... this VN will become a tangled mess if I get too far into the weeds with the guide. I can only provide so much info and at some point the Player's save points are the ultimate pivot point(s).

I'll grab an adult beverage refill and debate the best way to proceed in an efficient manner.

BTW... that final Sara route choice was back in U8 (that was one helluva long time ago):

This screen grab makes me wonder....WTF did my macro do? Why does it say "Player's Choice"? .... that's not a player's choice... that's a fucking real choice. Who wrote this damn Sancho code? Where's the complaint dept.? This looks like the work of AT&T and that's not acceptable. This must be rectified immediately. Can't trust bots/macros/ChatGPT for anything.

Good morning. It only took me about 1.5hrs this morning to finish the ChoiceGuide for U20... but then it hit me. I realized I must take all the other relp paths into account with this new Sara/Ashley deal. So, I've gone back to even the Ivy scene (which can affect Nikki, we already knew that) since that now affects Ashley. This took some doing since that scene has so many factors later but I reckon I've done it.

Very oddly enough, you can retain Ashley's path if you desire and still fuck Ivy... you just can't get Ivy's extended scene. I found this very confusing tbh... so I grabbed another cup of coffee and triple checked everything. Yep, you can still retain Ashley by not going too far with Ivy (screen grab of new Ivy scene ChoiceGuide below). I have a bad feeling I'll be addressing this again as the dev will likely make even more changes due to all these previous relps/scenes, including changing this very one:

With that said I still don't have a timeframe since I have some IRL obligations today that got put off yesterday working on these updates. So, I'll be offline for a while today but I see no reason this won't be done at some point between 4-12hrs (completely dependent on my IRL outcomes).

Not hating on Sancho personally or anything just that I hate this mod monopoly for real. Since Sancho stopped his mods to work on android and as he is modding several favourite games of mine, it's just so bloody nightmarish for me. I mean yeah u r doing it for free blah blah, but what's the problem with android players. Yeah there r several android modders who port these games with mods attached and all they do is earn around some cents for each download. It's not like you are providing android apk for us to use. Just a thought really. May be rude but most of the android users will agree I can bet.

If you want ur mods to be just not used by other then pls stop modding and let others create a mod for it. Or just create a patreon I will gladly pledge you. Gone are the days I play porn games on PC anymore. Nothing like bed's comfort.
