I've tried to search on this issue, and can't find anything or can't narrow the terms down correctly.

I'm playing through and at the end of 0.8.5 and I should have a Carol scene and then 0.9 starts with waking up with her. Despite picking choices and feeling like I was on romance path with her, those scenes are not happening for me.

I have not used any cheats to change flags or values, but am certainly doing a 'man whore' playthrough where I have relationships going with a lot of girls. I did have Carol Love = 0 from doing the 'slow play' approach but did end up having the date night. Also both of the Carol flags that Sanchomod tracks show as 1 for me.

Is there a pursuit of some other girl that turns off Carol's romance path in the background?

Or is this some type of bug, maybe from slow play the Carol date (put it off a few episodes). I did try changing Carol Love points to 1 with console just to see and that did not trigger the scenes.

Any ideas?

The love points system isn't binary: a "1" doesn't mean you're on her path; it means you haven't given Carol much love.

I'm further along than you, but at the 1.1.0 Extended, I have 36 Carol points on my "man whore" route. As of the date scene, you likely would have had to have 20-25ish - maybe closer to 30 since I don't think there's been a lot of Carol points available since the releases you're on.

The slow-play meant no Carol nookie for you. So far, I've gotten all the pussy that's been available.

UPDATE: So my issue seems to have been caused by trying to slow play the Carol date. In 3.5 you have the option to defer the date and do it later in 6.0. That part worked, but for some reason doing the date in 6 seemed to have put me off the Carol romance path after the date (even though nothing indicated that should happen). So I was missing Carol events in 7x and 8x that should have triggered. I do think this means there is some flag bug somewhere in there, but the easy way to avoid is just to take the Carol date at the first chance if you want to be on her path.

My relation points with Carol are 29 and Love Points 0 going into the place where I am missing her scene. I used cheat to bump it up to like 36 and 1/2 love points - and the scene still does not trigger. And I DID get the date scene with Carol... I just did it in 6.0 instead of 3.5.

So there must be another flag I did/did not trigger at some point. (Unless this is a straight bug).

Ok... I just realized that I also did NOT get the Carol before training / footjob scene in 0.7.0. Using the walkthrough, this scene does NOT happen: "If you are still developing a romantic relationship with Carol - Jump to “0.7.0 Carol before training”"

In the freeroam Carol asks me to do the delayed date and then the Carol date/sex scene happens in 6.0 - but by 7.0, I got off the Carol path ???

Looking at the flags using SanchoMod.. I see that CarolE6=1 is there... but no matter how far back I go that flag is still 1. Maybe it was supposed to change to 0 or 2 after the date/sex?

I do not quite understand why Rachel doesn't get that much love here compared to some other girls. She is one of the most beautiful girls in all AVNs that I've played so far. Just as I like them: impeccably stylish, with short boyish haircut, with straight long legs which look even greater in high heels and nylons. Composed but sensual at the same time. Intelligent. Not easy to get (I have failed her in my first two playthroughs) but worth fighting for. I am on the family path with her now (full love score) and would like her line to continue to a happy end.
As far as I understand she is the favorite girl of the Dev as well, so it gives me hope that her path will continue.

Well, since I'm a cheating bastard )) I'm also in love with Nikki. She is incredibly hot, stunningly attractive, clever, and she is a teasing devil.
Don't get me wrong, all the girls in this game are very beautiful, but I wish those two in particular would get descent paths and I can be around till the end.

Oh, and I'm just curious of all the development of situation with Nataly and Mellory )) They are also teasers and crazies (at least the Roxy's big sista) and can give some hot action in future.

All in all, UoP was my very first AVN which has thrown me into this rabbit hole and it still holds my interest after all the other titles that I've played since that. It's not that much of a story as the state-of-the art visuals and likable characters which is not that little in my account.

Important

The development of update 1.2.0 is going fine. In the last two weeks, I've been a little off schedule due to some issues, so I think development is now a couple of days behind what I had originally planned. That's not bad news, though. I'm sure I'll catch up if I work hard next week.

Currently, about 90-95% of the planned scope of work has been completed (applies to the basic version). The content for the Extended version is 10% ready.

The roughly scheduled release date for version 1.2.0 is the second half of April.

The next sets of sneak peeks (basic and extra versions) will be published in the coming days.

Looks like there is an Ashley scene I didn't get naturally on any of my paths in the latest release. I expect I have to have rejected Sara to get it, but I'm not certain. Was able to see it via Sancho Gallery, but am curious about where it occurs organically. It's the third scene, includes a but plug, anal fingering and pussy rubbing.

Yeah, just befriend Sara or stay indifferent (no jogging together), but don't romance Sara's path while doing Ashley's. Above that you don't bang Ivy or stop before the anal part. Or fuck her in her ass, but in v0.8.5 you don't pretend to be Ashley's boyfriend (don't put on a little performance). Good luck.

Not gonna gonna go back and do that - Sara's my best girl (I have a type). Normally a redhead guy, but the two redheads, while completely romancable and fine, aren't my ideal. I'll just keep using Sancho and find the stuff I'm not willing to do a replay to claim.

The way the scene is done, though, I can see it potentially being recycled as part of the path I've chosen as I get Ashley up to speed to be part of a MS/Sara/Ash throuple.

The game is good, but has a lot of flaws. Yes, the visuals are amazing, especially the animations. But there is something uncanny about the way the characters all look very similar. The writing is also, not that great tbh. Extremely generic and the characters are just harem girl tropes personified.

But you are right, considering the good visuals and the consistent updates, I expected this to be way more popular than it is
