Rachel is awesome; her path is both my favourite teacher path in any AVN and the reason why my playthrough of UoP is merely on hiatus rather than dropped altogether. Really wish there was a way to both stay faithful to her and 'win' the game, but no such opportunity so far afaik.
wdym? in my update rachel was literally the only female my mc was seeing so what do you mean by winning the game? i actually haven't played in quite a few updates so not sure what's changed.
I mean the missions for finding dirt on the Dean or whoever he is. 2/5 were available back when I played. To succeed at the 1st one, you had to fuck Kim, and you had to fuck Lexi to succeed at the 2nd one.
Just played through the game searching for this. While it is forced, it only shows up if you are on her route. If you never showed interest in her, it will not show up. Which makes it confusing why it would be an issue, because if you're seeing this scene, you've already committed to pursuing her route (there was a clear choice for you to jump off and stay as friends before this).
that's good to know I made some kind of mistake my first time playing unless it was a bug or something back then cause I saw when I was not playing her path my first time playing through multiple saves perhaps I was being too friendly
I have no idea how it's something that impacts Nikki's route, or why it will affect the rest of the story - if I remember rightly, this is during a shopping trip that is not canon, so it would be odd for it to have such an impact... For Nikki, you chat with her at the party and get her number, then arrange to go check out her art studio. She's easy to miss if you're not in the habit of checking out every option when it comes to a free roam and several people you can talk to but don't have to talk to...
This is the main story. You have a choice, help Rachel with choosing a swimsuit, and then go to her house (erotic massage). Or instead of choosing a swimsuit, you go to Nikki's studio, where she asks you for help with the exhibition, and then immediately to Rachel's house for a massage.
I didn't know where the branch was, but that's what I mean by the swimsuit not being a canon scene - it only comes up if you pick the options to get there (i.e., it's avoidable). I've played the swimsuit shopping scene before and there wasn't too much to it, and on my main save I opened Nikki's path (which from what you said is why I didn't see the swimsuit shopping scene on this save) and am also in a relationship with Rachel. So I can't see how the swimsuit has any importance whatsoever, except to lock you out of opening Nikki's path in the first instance.
I initially followed Rachel's path because she's a Milf, and because she has the most scenes in the game. So when I saw this in the manual, I followed this path.
I've just checked the script and the bikini choice sets a flag (rachel_bikini = 1, 2, or 3). That flag then comes up exactly once so far (in chapter 8, two chapters later), and it's literally Rachel saying she's going to a resort and MC either knowing about it because she mentioned it in the clothing store, or not knowing about it. Obviously it depends on what (and who) you're looking for in the game, but even if specifically pursuing Rachel I would never describe that as a choice that has any importance (so far).
It's just for that one scenario. Just choose what would Rachel want to have on herself.
It's amusing to see a woman under 30 referred to as a MILF. I think she might only be about 26, but definitely not over 28 - it's in her stats, I just don't want to grab the external to check. Natalie, Mallory and Sasha are closer to MILF age range, but I doubt any of them are beyond 32 and none of them are moms.
That would be a bit young for a Teacher with her Background.
