So far I've had sex with all the women and haven't seen any signs of consequences, but as the game progresses, will this cause problems or will it be a harem in the end?
At one point, DreamNow (the developer) said they'd try to do a harem if they could figure out a way to have it make sense and not feel extremely forced. If it's going to happen, I think
having the MC submit to but then work with Sasha would be the most likely way to get it. She's powerful enough but also empathetic enough to other women that she might be able to pull it off... mostly. (At one point, she even effectively told the MC she can manage it for him.)
Outside of that, there are other possibilities. Firstly, there are some girls who are much freer in their attitudes towards intimacy and love. Though
they are side girls, Kim and Lexi both seem pretty open to whatever happens. So including them seems like it would be much easier, although they might be
so uncaring that they also wouldn't stay committed to the MC. But I do think these are more or less givens, unless events / conversations take a hard turn so they suddenly become much less open to certain ideas of a relationship.
The MC also can already be in the process of establishing a few different throuples. The first of these
includes Carole and Yuki. While we have previously been told specifically that Carole can have a major jealousy streak, she had started a relationship with Yuki before ever meeting the MC, one that she ended when she got uncomfortable about the idea. So if this throuple happens, that might overcome
what otherwise could be insurmountable jealousy.
Two of the other throuples
involve Sara: one includes Ashley, and the other includes Nikki. This latter might also end up as a quad if the MC is on Roxy's path as well. Or, alternately, the MC could be
on Nikki's path but not Sara's, in which case the throuple would be with Roxy and Nikki. If this happens, I have no idea whether there would already be the beginnings of anything polyamorous where
Ashley is involved.
One potential advantage of existing polyamory (depending of course on the individuals involved in it) is that it
might make further increasing the number of members of that relationship easier. Feelings of jealousy would hopefully already be mitigated for existing members, making the focus of attention on incoming rather than existing participants.
That said, obviously there's no guarantee of anything until the VN is finished, and even if the entire scenario were real there would be no guarantee of any kind of desired outcome. What I think is one gigantic hitch in the plan is
the MC's relationship with Rachael. Although she's obviously proven to have a pretty decent kinky side, I'm not sure whether she would be OK with sharing the MC. She seems so completely head over heels for him at this point that I have my doubts that a polyamorous relationship with her would ever work out. So that has yet to be seen / addressed.
But as I said at the beginning of my post, there can never be a full harem; only
most of the women could be in the polyamorous relationship with the MC. It for sure will never include every single partner, since
Natalie and Roxy are mutually exclusive because they are sisters. And, ofc, while I'm unconvinced the MC ever could be anything more to Mallory than the potential father of her future kid, if there might be more potential there, you'd remove that possibility if you have the MC choose Roxy instead of Natalie. After all, Natalie is the only reason the thought even gets put into Mallory's head in the first place.
But I do think DreamNow seems to have a decent idea on how it could be possible for
most LIs. Whether they pull it off without further exceptions is obviously yet to be seen.
