I always play with audio muted, so I wouldn't notice any difference, however there are a bunch of audio files in the game folder, so I assume there must be some sound effects?

Ultimately, at the moment we do not know. There have been two characters specifically talking about harem and helping to get it going, and one of those has actively started work on that, on a small scale - but so far a four-girl harem is the most that has been discussed (Nikki, Sara, Ashley, Roxy) - at least, I think Nikki discussed three others, I'm questioning myself now as to whether Ashley was mentioned or not. As to how it will go, when, and how many it will include... we don't know yet. All we do know, is it should at the least exclude Natalie and Mallory (or possibly include them but not Roxy).

Yeah, it's been something that has changed (a couple of times, I think). I remember seeing something where the dev said he thinks he's figured a way to do it that he's happy with, and certainly a few of the last handful of updates have started moving the harem along a bit, specifically with two different women trying to get things in motion.Thanks for the detailed answer!

Rachel is definitely the one that should be most difficult, given her postition. So far, there's no known link between her and any of the other girls (that I can think of), save that Sara is doing tutoring with/for her. Sasha might potentially have helped with Rachel's (ex-)husband, but that doesn't mean anything as far as harem goes, as it would require either some form of blackmail, or ridiculous gratitude to lead to Rachel being brought in.
Depends on what you think constitutes sharing. You do not share anyone with another male character, but you do watch one LI kiss another LI in your presence if you are on that route.
Not in any form of swinging sense, no. The MC can have multiple women on the go, and if you get far enough into the game, some of them become aware of others he is seeing/fucking and actively work to begin forming a harem (or at least a 3 or 4 girl poly). There are no other men involved in any of it though.

You can have the harem route and ill take the rachel route.I completely agree, after Nikki helps with the foursome harem with Roxy and Sara, Ashley joining them is not far off. Dev could also find a way to add Carol and Yuki, by not it being a closed harem, but everyone having fun with each other.
What I fear is, I used to play a game with similiar plot of a milf and bunch of other same age LI. It had two endings, one with the milf and losing all other LI or choosing everyone else and losing the milf.
The same thing could happen, we either choose Rachel only path or everyone else without Rachel. And that is somewhat practical.
