We are not questioning the quality of your work, which is, no doubt, at top level. Both as art and as plot and characterization. Frankly, proabably many of us would have lost interest in such a slow paced progect if it wasn't so damn good.

I personally, by the way, appreciated a VN which can be on the shorter side not compromising the quality, not bloated of secondary events and characters which add nothing to the plot. It's easier to be played multiple times, trying different routes then a game which's runtime goes by 20-30 hours or so.

The next update, dubbed Oh Long Johnson, will be short. I've been saying this all along. It will be practically a stand-alone update, and it will be different from anything you've seen from me thus far.

Also, I take exception to all this "short" talk. My renders are, frankly, more dense than what you see from most developers. They tend to have more going on in the background or more detail. There are secrets everywhere. And I believe I'm one of the more devoted developers adhering to the "show, don't tell" philosophy, so you're not going to see 20 lines of text on one render like other games (I've literally counted 25 lines on one render in one of the more popular VNs). So when you guys say, "short," I say, "no filler."

Carbon, the quality of your work is awesome, I won't argue with you on that, you definitely do show it. So Kudo's to you on that.

The bad, I don't care how good it looks, waiting 6+ months for an update and getting 10 min of new content at my slow reading speed is short no matter how you cut it. Take all the exception to it you like, it's still true. Honestly I haven't played this last update, but the previous one gave less than 10 min of new stuff - from the bj in the car by drunken mom, to him going to school and having had the laptop play porn in class. That took around 6 months for that update... that is slow and short, I'm not going to blow smoke up your ass and say it's not. Sure it was some of the looking 10 minutes, but still.

The problem is you are criticizing the very things that brought many of us to this game and this developer to begin with. Telling him to change that stuff, is telling him to completely change his philosophy about game presentation, and to abandon the very purpose he had in launching this game.

This developer promised to be different than other developers, and in that respect he has kept his word. I wouldn't change a thing in this game.

Yes, there are games that are undoubtedly very good and have one or two of these elements, but the combination of all of them doesn't happen that often.

Apart from that, I don't think we can influence the long waiting times in any way...

Fair enough, I agree, though unfortunately it just rubbed me the wrong way, when I thought it was a genuine error because I didn't know better at the time and looked for genuine help, instead of admitting it and saying it was intended, Cabon decided to try troll me and claim it shouldn't give errors and it really was a issue.

I have a serious dislike of liars, in games and IRL. Sadly the dev ruined his shot at making me a true fan and potential supporter when he did. Honestly I'd have had no issue with it if it had been honest about it though. Sure I can see the humour in it now, but I'll still dislike it and not trust a word from the dev ever again.

But hey it's his project to do with as he see's and I respect that even if I dislike it. I'll still keep an eye on it and try it again one day when it has a worth while (imo) amount of content. If his paying supports are happy, this is really the important thing and I hope he keeps delivering what they want.

Did you not just read the part where I said this game is different, and if you want "the same" then you can go play a practically unlimited number of VN's? Yeah, you don't seem like the type that will enjoy this VN and you should probably find something more appropriate for you.

Friday Update - June 11, 2021

Hello, Patrons!

Hope you all had a wonderful week. I had a good week on several fronts, but it has not been quite as productive as I'd like on the VN front, unfortunately.

I wasn't thrilled with the animations I made last week - I wasn't happy with the character and I wasn't thrilled with the outfit either. So I changed them. And then I redid the longer of the animations. But then it turned out to not be great. So I redid it again.

Long story short, I now have the character I wanted in the outfit I wanted and the animations will be re-rendering whenever I have nights free.

Other than that, I've been working on characters and outfits and environments and all the crazy stuff that goes into building an update.

I'm also working with a talented musician who was kind enough to reach out to me on Discord. You might just hear some custom music for each character soon!

Tier 2's and up can expect the first preview render of 0.5v3 soon after this post goes up, so be on the lookout!

The quality of this game is such that it has a considerable support on Patreon despite having provided minimal content in over a year. Unleashed is making more than other games with constant updates, thousands of renders and great animations like Deliverance for example to name just one of the better ones.

I think Carb is still not aware of his own game's potential, and treats it as a mere pastime or even as a social experiment to check the players' reactions (he's wicked ). But people's attention span is limited, and there are great games coming out constantly.

I don't know about you, but I am unable to change her name. So I am sure thats what he was trying to say. When I click "yes" it goes to a gray dissolve screen and then goes to her saying something about a name being important or something. I don't like the name Maeve so I have tried to change it multiple times. LMAO. I would say that is my only complaint about this game. otherwise this is one of my favorites.
