Happy Friday, Patrons!
I hope you are all doing well in these troubled times. Personally, I'm really looking forward to a time when I can get a frickin' haircut.
As I mentioned on Wednesday, development on 0.5 is going well. Almost all my work has so far been dedicated to rendering one major scene, which has proven to be particularly difficult due to a really taxing environment asset. Lots of lights and lots of reflective surfaces makes for a complex scene. But I'm almost done with the scene and I'm looking forward to moving to new environments.
0.5 will see the first real, custom animations. In prior versions there were girls blinking, which I don't classify as real animation. Then there was the Angel scene where the animation itself was an asset made by someone else, though I modified it somewhat to have the lightning effect.
The new animations will be short loops of 1-2 seconds, but hopefully you'll agree they add a little flavor and life to the scenes.
I hope you guys are all prepared for a different VN experience, because you're going to see some different things as we go forward. It's difficult not to spoil them, but I really want to do things that no one else in Adult VN's is doing, and I hope that you will all be pleasantly surprised when you see them.
