So for those of you who haven't been around much, here's the deal. Yes, development is super slow. In January of this year my mother, who lived with me and I was her caretaker, fell ill. In March she died. It's very difficult to work on a light-hearted porn game when that happens.

Work on Episode 7 has been ongoing. While work on Episode 7 is going, I went ahead and released the final version of Episode 6, which was incomplete in the last update. That's where we're at now. A full update, Episode 7, will be coming soon. When? Dunno, I'm not gonna give out an estimate until I'm sure. But things are finally getting back to normal and people are going to start seeing reasonably timed updates again.

That's not a promise and it's not something I expect anyone to believe. Unfortunately the nature of this business means y'all will just have to wait and see if I deliver. If you'd rather not wait around, that's cool. But it's a good game. And you'll be missing out. :)

Oh and to the dude that said the discord isn't active? Bullshit. I'm there every day. It's not the most active discord in the world, but if you yell at me there I'll usually respond pretty quickly (at least in reasonable US eastern standard time hours).
blessings to you and your family .. the passing of a loved one is difficult ... believe me i know my wife passed away on me almost 2 years ago now ... but we have our love for them to keep us going in our difficult times , my friend .
don't worry we will always be here .. even those that complain ..... awesome dev's ( like you ) are hard to find , keep your head held high my friend your Mother as my late wife are looking after us with love (y)

I don't care.
and exactly THIS is, what confirms all the posts over here to be right.

IF it's true that your mother died (like your dog also died - lol), then that might be hard for you - but really? 6 months of "mourning"?
DUDE - in real life in real jobs you would be fired after few weeks. No one is forcing you to to create content, but comming over here, delivering 1 week worth of work after 14 months is a bad joke. A mom dying is no excuse for that.
Even IF it would be true, you said march, which has been 5 months ago -> But what about the 9 months BEFORE that time?
Who else died. SO please stop babbling BS.

Just because of people like YOU, other devs get the crap from people over here.

YOU decided NOT to put patreon on hold. YOU decided NOT to tell people "i stop developing because of personal reason for the next time" and so on.

YOU did everything to make people disbelieve you, and yet you dare to post such lame excuses AFTER shit happens?
I would laugh, but honestly all i can do is to feel pity for ya.

really? You still believe him? You still don't think this is milking?

A short math:
This game is out since July 2019 -> 62 months * 550$ per month (see patreon) = 34100$

More than 30k for content which a normal dev put out within 2-3 months

ONE scene in this update - which is less than 1 minute playtime - but 14 months = 7700 bucks
Basically that's 130 bucks per second

So you might now see why people over here with at least one functionning braincell in head go rant.

Just because of scammers and milkes like this dude, people don't believe anymore other devs who REALLY have problems.

Aw, man, I'm so sorry for your loss. :(
2 of my grandpas died, 2 of my grandmas died, 1 father died, 1 mother died.
3 dogs died, 7 birds died, hundreds of fishes died
2 rabbits died, 3 hamsters died

how could i survive all that and still continue my life all the time? Based on your lame excuses, i never would have had to work at all in my life......

Pleasantly surprised to see another update. I though this game was toast.
Not too surprised to see the reactions here, from what I've seen its the nature of crowd-funded projects. For a game on steam you pay once and get your game, if its bad you get a refund.
For a game that uses Patron or the like you pay much more if your subscribed because you are invested it its completion, the abandonment of the game renders your months of subscription money worthless with the potential never being fulfilled.
These games aren't worth 100 dollars completed, but a lot of subscribers spend that much and more in hopes of seeing a project flourish, so silence from the dev is seen much more personal.
I don't think that devs should get bashed when they take time off, especially when they experience a great tragedy, but I feel like they should expect the response and try to keep their subscribers informed.

Also dudes, not everyone can even recover from a death, just because you could doesn't mean everyone else can. its been 10 years and my aunt has never really recovered from my grandmothers passing

I'll shut up now

believe what you will but mourning someone that was very close or was family takes YEARS to truly get over. 6 months??? that's a good start. if you don't think so then you must never have had someone die like that. I was on duty on an aircraft carrier when I had the first really close family member die! (my 3 month old son) and that shit still hurts today 30+ years later! I was a mess for the first 2-5 years though every year i was able to control things better and better but still i won't even use respectfully, because you need a REALITY check if you think 6 months is enough time to get over it and if you have never cared for a very ill person their needs get to be almost overbearing. sure in a typical retail or 9-5 job someone that doesn't show up for months will be fired but that isn't the case. move on person who doesn't deserve even this response.

I've said this before but it's suitable to repeat it. There's what I consider a contact between you, the players, and me, the developer.

I make content. Or I do not make content.
You check out my content. Or you do not.
You support me. Or you do not.

No one's being forced to do anything. If I put out something you like, check it out. If you don't want to check it out, don't. If you want to support my work? Great! If not, that's fine too. Until the next update, my ignore list grows, and if any of you would like to catch me, the best place is on Discord, or even on Twitter. Thank you, those that enjoy the work! <3

That is just heartbreaking, I am so sorry to hear that. It's definitely been an experience. You can be just fine going about your business then all of a sudden something reminds you of a moment and bam, it hits you like a bus all over again. Thank you so much for your post and for sharing.
