i keep getting errors with 8.5 should i reinstall the game

Renpy can give a mac distribution with windows/linux version. Unfortunately, the save feature doesn't work. Perhaps it's the difference in the way save is handled on mac. So if you want to play on Mac, you have to play in 1 session. The gallery works, so if you only want to see the scenes, it's still fine.

I assume you loaded an old save. But v0.8.5 had bigger changes in the old scenes, they most likely won't work. Best is to restart the game.

Okay, so I am a little confused. Was there new content added to May's update (8.5) or was it all extended scenes?

I just played this again for the first time in a while, after a couple of updated, but I feel like it ended in the same place.

Can someone who's played it through confirm where the update ends?

Play the game carefully against your own old save files and you will find new scenes.
I asked you to look back at the chat history. A forum expert had previously answered the same question from a newbie, but you didn't read it.

Usually to change languages in the game, you go to Preferences and change it there.

Oof, no news from the dev since that post huh. I figured by now the dev the dev would have came up with some way to monetize the game, even if its not ideal. Really hope this doesnt get abandoned, but its looking grim
