Any feedback is appreciated, even negative feedback, because I can use it to improve the game. As for the events, you should be able to click the journal icon and then the characters image and it will show you what to do next, your current affection score, etc. I just realized though that I don't think I even stated anywhere that you can do that, so that's my fault.
As for the 'doing everything repeatedly' that's a combined issue of me not knowing how else to do it and it taking a long time to code things when I started, so I went with the simplest approach. I'm definitely trying to figure out a better alternative.

I honestly don't care if people consider it Shota, but I want that there because Patreon gets very upset with tags like shota and loli, and it's better safe than sorry in my opinion.

The name won't be changeable, due to the main character not being a self-insert character. He has a set personality and a set past etc, so I wanted him to have a set name as well.

I put in a ticket requesting ownership of this thread and the dev tag and got neither. This was back when I made this post.
Edit: It was my fault for not checking the ticket again, nothing wrong on the staff side, I'm just dumb.

Good attitude there mate wish you luck, futa on male games are few and far in between. So I will give the game a shot again in the future for sure.
I really didn't care for this one.
The way the writer gatekeeps the important knowledge from us is what I tend to call intrigue teasing. There's a traitor amongst us, but don't worry about that for now and live happily with us. None of us want to tell you what this war is about but we're the good guys even though we're fighting a goddess you've previously known to be a pacifist so just go on missions with us. They even said ''I hope you'll still be on our side when you learn the truth''. It shouldn't be optional to tell this stuff to the hero you've awakened from a 1000 year sleep.
The prologue was frustrating but once you finish that, the sandbox was pure hell. Already viewed scenes just remaining there creating a messy system where you can't easily tell what is new or not. Pointless ''spend time with blank'' that just bump up a variable but don't offer any dialog or scenes.
This game teases you with a few interesting mysteries but then doesn't let you pursue them and just makes you play house with a bunch of strangers you don't care about.

Sorry you don't like it. I'll address a few of the points here.
The 'there's a traitor among us but don't worry' thing isn't so much 'don't worry' as it is 'if I question the wrong person/dig for info in the wrong place, it could go really wrong really fast'. If he was sealed away before, why wouldn't he believe it could be done again if he isn't careful?
You're supposed to be frustrated by the 'nobody will tell me anything' attitude. The entire point of this is you and the character both know something isn't adding up, but why would people just come out and give info that's highly confidential to the guy they've never met and only know through stories, and risk pissing off the guy who killed one of the strongest people to ever live, regardless of whether the people in charge are justified or not?
The sandbox is definitely bad and needs to be changed drastically, but I'm not exactly a god of coding, I'm just a guy who's trying to make a game with the coding skills he's picked up so far. I could make it more linear, but the point is you only have to interact extensively with people you want to interact with beyond the story requirements. Don't like Alice, for example? Don't interact with her outside of the story. This applies for all of the characters.
As for 'playing house with a bunch of strangers you don't care about', how exactly am I supposed to make you care about a character you've just met besides having them in the main story and letting you speak to them and learn more about their personality and views?
As for not being able to pursue the mysteries, I'm a solo game dev who isn't doing this for a living. I can only put out story content, animated scenes, cgs and events for characters etc so fast. I'm sorry if you don't like having to wait for more story content but my life doesn't revolve around making this game and pumping out updates as fast as possible, I have other things to do like work to pay rent and eat.
Hopefully that address' all the points you brought up and at least explains my reasoning for them, even if you still disagree with them.
I am certainly not going to tell you how to do things, especially if this game is something you are doing out of passion, but making your player frustrated without a satisfying payoff is a risky strategy. I understand that the game isn't finished yet, thus said pay off simply isn't there yet. So i guess i'll wait for it to be finished, before trying it again, because playing a game that designed to frustrate me doesn't sound like fun

First of all I do not like Futa so I complained why is it not optional BECAUSE at the time I posted that the OP did not have that it was optional. After someone replied back that it is optional I said I would check it out than. So please get your story correct the timing is not correct the OP at the time did not have that it was optional so I did NOT download it as I do not like Futa.
no actually I DID get my story correct , you don't like futa , and asked about having it optional , then when you got confirmed that it got optional you still complained about it.
Why the fuck are you here if you don't like futanari on a game that has the FUTA tag.
Optional or not isn't even the damn conversation I'm trying to have here, it's why are you here in the first place if you don't like futa.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply back. I know it's not usually a good idea to intentionally leave players frustrated with anything in games, but if I just told you everything at the start, then what's left to figure out besides what to do next?
I personally am a big fan of games where you don't have the full picture at the start so you have to try to piece it together as it goes.
Of course this is very different in a game that's actively being developed and isn't done yet, but I feel like it would be boring if I just had the characters come out and say 'this is why everything is happening the way it is, this is how you were sealed, this is why you were unsealed, now make a choice.'
Players most likely don't have any emotional attachment to characters yet beyond 'oh, they're nice' or 'I like how they look'. So any choice would be 'ok this is what I would do if there's nobody I care about on either side.' Which is the opposite of what I want to happen.
Sorry for the rant, just want to put it in perspective that I'm aware it's risky to leave players frustrated that they aren't getting any answers, but I can't get the intended reaction without it being that way at first.

Well of course I'm not going to play a game that has Futa in it. If OP originally had put Futa optional I would of just downloaded and checked it out. My comment was meant that we need to see option for Futa so many now don't give an option so what looks to be a good game is not to me. I made comment hoping that maybe dev would see that and think about making it optional but I got the surprise it is but was not posted.

I'd like to apologize for not making it clear from the start that futa is completely optional, that's on me for not knowing how to do that without just putting it under the synopsis, which I ended up doing anyway. Hopefully now people who aren't interested in futa or are actively turned off by it will know they can still play the game and get the story as well as non-futa content without ever seeing any futa, as it's a decision given to you before the game properly starts.
