I mean I can add a lesbian tag, I didn't think one scene would be that upsetting to people but I guess I was wrong.
Not everyone likes lesbian sex, so it's best to indicate that it exists, even if it's not the focus or is rarely featured in the game.

On the other hand, I hope that threesomes are optional.

On the other hand, I really like lesbian stuff and was hoping it could be a sign of more to come, or even futa/female and futa/futa scenes. Oh well though, I'll just look forward to more of the futa-on-male (y)

Ok, just started this and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with hwo the hero acts. Since he looks a bit like Limule or Rimuru for those who prefer lol. I expected him to either be a badass shotacon like him or a subby slut depending on the players choices. Yk, usualyy in AVNs when you have a shota he's basically getting screwed everytime lol. SO yeah, I expected him to be a bit more idk, intelligent, "badass" this time given the summary.
Now, maybe it's just him acting that way so no one doubts him. However wth, smn with such big influence and who is "the last hope" and you tell him you won't speak of the reason the war is happening? (Maybe I misunderstood but she litteraly said : I can't tell you the reason lol)
I was expecting him to say smt like "if you don't tell me why should I put my life on the line for people who don't trust me". He's acting like a good little soldier "what do I need to do, who, will I be working with, where do you need me" and I don't rly like it. Hope we'll have the option to change that behavior. You can be a hero without necessarily being dumb or "naive".
It's like nearly dying while fighting for what was probably a queen once didn't teach him anything.
I'd have prefered if we had some options during that dialogue that would perhaps change a loyaltty or freedom stats maybe even a dassertiveness/passiveness stat. Code Geass spoiler : You can be a good guy while making what seems like bad guy decisions a bit like lelouch, that's what a ture hero is he doesn't everyone to think of him as a hero , don't spoil yourself if you didn't watch the show. I think there are 3 season the rest is bs, it's a frkin masterpiece enjoy.

Ik Ik, I'm currently only at the convo with Runa. I just started the game, but smt I just need to get it off my chest lol.
Hope, you won't hold it against me, I just needed to unwind.

[EDIT]
Ok I arrived at the angel's envoy and it seems he isn't that dumb. Seems like MC just doesn't have any useless ego and just doesn't care abt what's being, instead he prefers listening and acting only when the situation demands it. He also have suicidal tendecies, prbbly lost a lot of ppl he cared for when fighting the overlorld or whatever, maybe that's why he seems so detached and empty.
Well, it seems like for now he's using the undercover tactic.
It'd have been great however to have the player more involved.

Enjoying the game so far! The plot and main character remind me of old school anime/jrpgs, which makes it easier to get immersed. It's also refreshing to see a game where the hero can bottom in sex scenes. I'm interested in seeing if bottoming is going to have any effect on party/relationship dynamics in future updates.

One thing I'd say would be helpful, with a quest system where the player has to move to certain rooms to trigger a quest, is to add something like an exclamation mark on the room's icon when there's a quest waiting in it, and/or add the main character's portrait to the journal UI and have it so the player can click on it to see quest hints (or stats if you add them).

As a case for why, there was a point in the game (the first quest you trigger from the computer) where I thought I'd seen the end of all of the content because I wasn't seeing any new options in the rooms. There was no way to know what conditions I had to meet to trigger it, and I don't remember even being notified I had a message waiting for me (side note: it might have been due to a bug/incorrect trigger response, because I did get a message to go to **Rachael**'s room).

I understand the disappointment in how he acts, but as you said in the edit, he really just doesn't care right now. The reason is expanded on in the next update at the end of the month, but needless to say, when you go to fight the strongest monster alive, not everyone makes it back alive.

Also keep in mind he's a twenty something year-old guy who was raised in a war and lost his entire family during it. He's not going to be very well adjusted emotionally.

I do plan on showing just how powerful he is later on, but keep in mind that power didn't matter when he was sealed away, so who's to say it couldn't be done again if he's not careful? There will be times he has to fight however, which will show that he is actually as strong as everyone thinks he is, but I don't want it to be a Gary Stue situation where he can solve everything and is making the perfect choices every time, or can just force people to do things without any real consequences.

I do plan to flesh it out a bit more that he's only doing what they say because he doesn't want to risk making enemies of those around him. Why would he risk that when he can just pretend to not question anything. After all, hero's are usually naive and trusting, so why wouldn't he take advantage of that assumption?

I said this in a different reply, but if you were the monsters and the guy who killed one of the strongest monsters to ever live suddenly came back a thousand years later, would you risk pissing him off if he doesn't agree with your reasons, regardless of how justified they may be in your eyes?

As I said above in my snide comment, he's not dumb or naive, in my opinion dumb or naive in his situation would be trying to brute force his way to the answers he wants. Dumb because he could potentially be sealed again or killed if he can't go all out because of collateral damage and innocents dying in the crossfire. Naive because he would be assuming they'd even tell him the truth if he showed up and used force to make them answer his questions.

There will be much more player choice in the future, this is just the setup for when you get information and can start making informed decisions about who to trust and not, who knows more than they want you to think they do, who's on his side regardless of his choices, etc. Any choices given.

It's not a massive spoiler since the next update explains a lot about the war and why it's happening, so I'll say you will eventually be given a major choice with serious consequences. As I said in a previous comment, it's not a MGQ situation where monsters are good and angels are bad. It's not that simple.

As for what a hero really is, what they're willing to do and how far they'll go, etc, it's pretty much stated that will come up later in the story in the synopsis, where he's asked if after he learns the truth he'll "remake the world in his image", his being Nathan's. It's not just a cliche 'the hero would never give in to temptation' thing. Based on choices throughout the story, his beliefs can and will waver and even change drastically, changing the outcome of the entire story.

The best visual novels and even games in general I've played let you make decisions that effect the outcome drastically and that's the kind of game I want to make.

I don't mind people giving opinions based on where they are in the story, in fact it helps me see what people like and don't like before getting to content that may change their opinion on what's happening. If the very start makes people lose interest, they might not stick around to see later parts that may have kept them invested in the story.

Thanks for taking the time to write out your comment.

Glad you like it, I was definitely going for the old school anime/rpg vibe, as that's one of my favorite kind of premises. Him bottoming or topping will somewhat change interactions later on if I can make the flags not blow up the game, which is harder than it sounds.

I'm actually redoing the UI currently and it will come out with the update at the end of the month. There's been a few complaints about it and looking at it from the perspective of a player who doesn't know everything already, it really isn't very helpful. I appreciate the suggestion for indicators to show what rooms have events you haven't seen yet, it's definitely doable and I'll add some kind of indicator to rooms with the update this month.

I'll definitely add a way to view certain stats for Nathan and such later on when there's enough content to justify it, right now getting the story to a specific point is my main focus, as that point opens up a lot more options for the player in terms of who to interact with and what to do next. The story is extremely linear until that point because it has to be for the future content to work how I want it to.

Thanks for taking the time to write up the comment, feedback is always appreciated.

1st, I'd like to thank you for giving me a well explained answer and not just 2 lines to divert my attention lol.
Ok I finished the game, atleast I can't seem to go anywhere with the story now. I can see that even though the hero is rly powerful, it seems his mind isn't as powerful given how many times he fell for Runa or her mother's trick.
So yeah from that point I understood that he wasn't superman lol. He still have weaknessin certain areas that can be used against him.
You mentionned he was sealed away, I honestly though they were able to seal him bc he was tired after his fight with the overlord. But yeah, I totally agree, why take unecessarry risks.
My view of him changed through the gameplay as we got to know what he thinks via the ineer dialogue. MC isn't dumb or naive. He just seems depressed and I think he's quite intelligent. Like you said he lived at a time where wars was the norm and he was a hero during one. It also seems he fought that war alone so didn't seem like he had any brethren which would explain why he's so lacking when it comes to simple life.

I also totally agree with you when you say that the greates games are the ones that have choices that allow to change the whole directio n of the story. However you have to admit that the player's input 'till now has been kept to a minimum. I can understand tgough, if you just want to 1st give the story the pace it needs b4 giving the player more freedom of choice.

For exemple it doesn't sit well with me that they all try and use magic to initiate sggs with him. I understand that for now it's necessarry since he just sees it as a task. However in the future it'd be great if we could tell them off if they try again (and maybe have some sexy punihment in case it happens lol aka spanking, edging...).
If you want to seduce mc, no prblm but don't try to do it forcefully using mind magic or whatever lol. Ik it's in their nature as monsters but I still think MC should make a point of it (maybe let that be a choice bc maybe some players actually like it).

I'll def follow this game, I think it has some big potential story wise.

Oh one last advice, you should incorporate a var check when we go to sleep smt like : if every scene's been seen lol and the main path is up to date, show this message : "you've completed all the content for the current version".
Bc I won't lie checking for everyone on that note is quite annoying, especially when there's a bug with a character that lets you think there's still content to be seen.
Or maybe put a cross on their pp when all their content is seen.

Glad you like it.

For his mind not being as strong as his body, it's a mix of that and the fact that succubi, lorewise, are the most dangerous monsters overall. Not because they're physically the strongest or even the smartest, but because their magic is obscenely powerful. As Nathan's inner dialogue explained early on, once a Succubus reaches a certain level, it's impossible to resist their charm.

Obviously that's not 100% certain, as he doesn't know everything and could be wrong, but he personally has never seen anyone resist a charm spell from a Lilim, the highest rank of Succubi. Just being a Lilim means they're powerful enough that they could have fought for the position of overlord and possibly won.

Succubi are usually portrayed as 'haha horny magic makes men submit'. In the universe of my game, they are terrifying. If they're strong enough they can use charm magic to completely alter someone's mind permanently, hence the conversation after the threesome with Miraia and Runa having Miraia specifically state she didn't do anything permanent.

If she had wanted to, she could altered his personality drastically or even made him a mindless slave. Having sex with a high level succubus, if the character knows what they can do, is a sign of immense trust, because they're just that dangerous. It will be shown more throughout the story that you really don't want to risk underestimating a succubus.

I do need to work on not putting stuff like that at the end of an h-scene, since if you have futa off you wouldn't see that dialogue and would only have scene Runa's titfuck with no dialogue about the charm magic after that. I may try making a scene immediately after those kind of scenes that both h-scenes lead into so no matter which you pick you get to the scene explaining it a bit more.

As for the whole using magic to initiate sex, that's explained as being a natural thing for succubi to do, and having fought so many, Nathan doesn't view it as odd or alarming. There's a scene in the next update where a character finds out what happened and is very unhappy about it.

Nathan himself doesn't view it as an issue because he's so emotionally detached from everything. Others however, very much do view it as an issue. The scene I spoke about in the last paragraph touches on that and a main point of development for Nathan will be learning what is and isn't normal or acceptable for monsters to do to people, and to a lesser extent what angels and humans do to others as well.

You will have the option later on once he's a bit more emotionally grounded to be pissed when someone tries to use magic to coerce him, in fact the only reason he isn't upset despite everything I mentioned is because it's Miraia, who he trusts implicitly, and Runa, who is the daughter of said person he trusts implicitly. With Miraia he didn't even try to resist and with Runa he let his guard down and the titfuck scene happened. He also let his guard down in the threesome scene, which is stated pretty blatantly with Runa even commenting on him not trying to break Miraia's spell.

While Miraia might be able to make him do something even if he resisted, Runa doesn't have that level of power. She even said in the titfuck scene that it won't work a third time.

I'm working on the UI now to fix some of the issues you brought up, but having a message when you sleep or train after viewing all content is a good idea, thanks.

As always, thanks for taking the time to write out your comment, feedback is always helpful.

The newest update is out, with a ton of changes, including a completely restructured UI, new story, new h-scenes, a new type of event, the ability to view (most) h-scenes again and more. I've updated the Mega links to contain the newest version of the game.
