Phew, glad it wasn't just me. I just got to this part on my first two saves and was really confused as to what picture Ethan was holding up.
Fantastic! Since there are way more ways for Kelly to not be in a lewd scene with Rowlett (spelling?) than in the one, I found it odd you say that it's non-canon. All the unique saves I've started to-date (5 or 6 I think?) have had Kelly not get into the lewd scene there so to me that was the canon route. I personally hope that if Kelly: 1) did not go to the apartment; or 2) went to the apartment after asking politely; or 3) went to the apartment but left before anything happened; then no lewd scene happens and there can be no forced blackmail from Ethan.
I found the story quite interesting until Ethan showed up. Since I'm not a fan of blackmail I was quite disappointed; even moreso when it was for something that never happened in any of my current saves. Since the game does not have a 'Blackmail' tag, if you do plan on using it in your story it should probably be added a planned or implemented tag.
I'll stick around for a bit longer to see the story develops post-Ethan and his blackmail attempt as I was enjoying how it was playing out. I'll be here hoping that if Ethan is flat out refused than he'll just take his weak blackmail attempt and disappear forever... but I suspect that won't be the case. Maybe I'll be able to have Nicole shoot him or something...

Guys i just have one question is the main protagonist Nicole married coz that entirely determines if her naughty scenes with other people count as cheating or not and i only really wanna play the game if she is a married woman and has hottt cheating scenes with other people lol..

So if you like the cheating stuff, this novel may still interest you. In fact, I recommend it.

Just for fun I made a mod to add a gallery for the various pinup style panning images in the game. Hope the developer will add a lot more of those in future updates.

I think the inspector investigating the MC’s case talks about a disappearance but murder isn’t ruled out either. In fact, that might be what’s being suggested in this case unless the game later reveals new information that changes things. The intro also suggests that the case is quite old making it a cold case that this rookie detective is trying to solve early in his career.
Since the story mainly focuses on Nicole’s past we might not have control over everything that happens to her like her possible disappearance or other events and her possible marriage to the man introduced as her husband at the start.
Rejecting Ryan doesn't seem to work...
