Enemies no longer die when I kill them.
I thought the code was broken until I scrolled through the changelog. As of 0.7 R/P/S combat is forced non-fatal. If there's a toggle or override for this I was not able to find it.
Biggest issue with this change is that I get railroaded into a sexual encounter with the thick azz thieves after choosing to overthrow them. If not death can I at least have the option to be like "you gobbos can have them, I'm leaving."
I believe that to present an option 99% of the players will choose, is to create a de-facto a false option. And there was almost never a reason
not to use Subdue attack against Wenches and other fuckables while non-fuckables were never subdueable in the first place. I did toy with the idea of killing a Wench in combat will give some massive bonus like 20 turns of absolute Obedience but eventually dropped it as I figured no matter what incentive I added, people will never kill the Wenches and lose the sex and plot they provided. So Subdue was axed.
Specifically for the thicc azz thieves I have added myself an action item for 0.9 to fix this, so you can beat them and not fuck them (why?!).
Man I love the powertrip in this game.
Just caught up and found myself laughing when Nahir told her story about the uncle and grandma since that's pretty much what MC is gonna do to his own mom once we reach the Western Sister.
Yeah, it was there when I wrote this plot
Doorknob22 is Zhilli's sister that she mentions (Rosy) and ode to Peasant's Quest?
If so, well done sir. Well done!
Yes, it was. I played Peasant's Quest mostly to knock the little cunt up (and enslave her children...)
Love this game so far.
Definitely wasn’t expecting the blackface though. LOL! SMH! That’s HAS to be a first in adult gaming/VNs (a white MC doing blackface).
Truth be told that entire Hawatia quest was just… ummmm… … … … … … awkward. Yeah, let’s go with awkward.
I try to stay away from clichés and I enjoy looking at conventions from fresh perspectives: my orcs are brutal but not mindless (nor spiritualistic like Blizzards), I have a cult priestess who is bored out of her ass with the cult and turns to gambling, a woman who decided she would rather be queen of underground goblins than a nobody in the humans' world and more.
So when I first though of Hawatia I wanted to make them arrogant assholes and thought it would be cool to make them arrogant assholes who see their skins as one of the reasons for their superiority.
I don't know if this bug has been reported yet, but in the Daoyuen infiltration quest, if you break into the chieftan's place and steal the girl on the night where you are supposed to go to the manure buyer and scare him off, the time shifts forward to the day, meaning you can't go to the manure buyer and scare him off. But you also can't fast forward the time because it still thinks you have to scare off the manure buyer. So you have to restart from an earlier save.
Nice catch! Fixed for version 0.9
