Thanks, that's what I thought was most likely and I ended up picking.

Perhaps a 'Always Show' option might be nice for the first three, but that's up to the devs!

I'm about to replay this and I have to admit, I find the starting options confusing.

Several fetishes have either a 'Optional' or 'Dont show' choices. I want all the fetishes. Does 'Don't show' mean I won't get asked questions and get all the content, or that some content will be missing?

As for 'stepcest mode', does Enabled just means the characters will call each other Step or something? If I want real incest, I should set this to disabled?

That could be explained better at game start, IMO.

"Optional" means that even when it's on, most of the time you won't stumble blindly into this specific fetish. You will still have an option to opt-out shortly before the scene.
"Don't Show" mean you will not even be aware the option existed in the scene.
As for "Stepcest mode", just fucking ignore it and play on Disabled. It's not even Step, it's "mentor" and "protégés". Don't ask.
