A small yet extremely important update for you all,
As many of you know AVN’s have come under attack once again, this time being delisted/ removed from platforms such as Steam,

etc., in response to pressure from VISA, MasterCard, PayPal etc. While I cannot say this was entirely unexpected, I certainly do not agree with, nor shall I bend to their will and desires.
Many Dev’s and Players alike have been creating their own uproar in response to this shameless attempt at communistic censorship, and there have been petitions established (which I will link at the bottom of this announcement) that I encourage you all to sign and support. Some dev’s are considering changing their works to something more SFW to skirt around this censorship, which I will admit I have considered myself, for about ten seconds or so. I do not judge my fellow creators on their choice on this, for many this is their livelihood we are talking about. I understand their stance.
But know that this approach with Valkyrion will simply not work. I know what my stories are about, and if I were to remove the NSFW elements from it, it would in fact draw far more scrutiny from entities with FAR deeper pockets and MASSIVELY overpaid lawyers who would love nothing more than to hit me with “IP infringement” suit after suit. While nothing is plagiarized in Valkyrion many can simply see the correlations and connect the dots on their own. What makes Valkyrion unique is its NSFW elements.
Know that Valkyrion will remain unchanged in its story, content, and position on censorship. We will stand against this infringement upon our rights to enjoy the entertainment of our choosing. It is YOUR money, and YOU should be the ones who choose what you do with it, and how. Not some payment processor who sees a “potential risk” to their brand. Not some “Collective” group crying out because the world doesn’t fall within its own idealistic fantasy. YOU. The players, supporters, and consumers should be the ones determining how you spend your hard-earned money for entertainment.
To that end I encourage all of you to sign these petitions if you have not already, and add your raised voice to the chorus. And in the words spoken by Bill Pullman in Independence Day.
“We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight!”
