Isn't the patreon model the worst thing for these types of games? No incentives to finish the games as we've seen countless of times before. Why not just change the model so there is a big payday when the game is finished

are you using your local machine to generate content? would you mind pointing me in the right direction to do the same?
Start with ComfyUI
At first glance it may seem complicated, but if you approach it properly step by step, over time it will turn out to be very simple and intuitive.
For getting started, the default workflows that are already included are enough. Later, when you understand how it works, you will create your own or use others found on the internet. A good source is the ComfyUI and StableDiffusion subreddits. As for models, I can recommend for images Z-Image-Turbo, Chroma, Flux 2 Dev, Qwen, Illustrious/NoobAI, Lumina. For videos Wan 2.2 is the top one imo.
If you want something simpler than ComfyUI for videos, then I recommend Wan2GP Fewer possibilities, but easier to use.
If you want to learn more, I recommend joining Discord servers related to this topic

Has the capabilities for generating on AMD hardware improved? I remember for a long while AMD was pretty much completely incompatible with ComfyUI.

Tested it last week on a 7900 xtx, was about twice as fast as my 3060 ti, so not a big improvement but working correctly.

So, in the latest version, is it possible to create a scene with animations and radically change the female characters? Could you please tell me the average system requirements? Are there any auxiliary plugins? Is it possible to switch to first-person view without any problems?

this is vam2 which just a demo atm. it has none of those things, and is mostly useless. wat u need is vam1.

nope not yet. we had 2 update last year, beta version 1 and 1.1. At two updates per year we should be ready by 2027 :BootyTime:
Ok that might be too optimistic, but on another note, this next upcoming update would let you save and load created scenes, which is a major step forward to reaching that vam experience.

Then after that, once we get the update for plugin support, the community should be able to feature out a timeline tool to animate characters with, in which a few people have already been experimenting on this.
Eventually with the use of plugins someone will also add static clothing and hair options as a plugin before meshed is able to, as for Meshed, said he will add static support for hair and clothes before he focuses on simulated physics, but who knows how long that will take :HideThePain:.

So for Vam 2 being operable over vam, I believe isnt that far off.

Judging by the last two responses, I don't understand what I can even do in this beta version. What's so interesting about the program that I'd spend, say, an hour there? Even the main content and saves aren't there yet.

In the game by itself, nothing really. But we have the SDK to explore, if you are interested in creating things (ports, models, etc) and learning Unity, then there is stuff to do. For me at least it had been really fun to try stuff and explore, so when it gets more support you can start creating even better assets. You actually can already import static hair if you want, and some other stuff, but since there's no place for it on the hub nobody is publishing.

As coochie_man said, once plugins are out everything will be possible for the community, i'm counting on that instead of waiting for it to reach parity with VAM1. Once we have code, anybody can build their own thing, assuming they are interested in creating rather than just playing it, and then we will have playable scenes very fast.

Also i made this environment port to practice, if anybody wanna give it a try.
Still rough, but i moved on to other assets. You can control each of the light's intensity and the post processing volume to change the visuals.
Port of this asset:

By the way, I asked myself in another post (VAM1), why do you consider this a game? For me, it's more like a program (Paint, Photoshop, etc.). I can't even call it a video game, not even a simulator.

I used 'game' just to differentiate between the runtime application itself and the AddonKit (SDK). But yeah, VAM1 for me is not a game but something else as well, a sandbox maybe, or a creator program like SFM. I think the physics simulation aspect of VAM1 is good enough for it to be a simulator, but it's my opinion lol
VAM2 still a long way from there. I think it has more potential of being a game eventually (depending on the scene) than VAM1, it's one of the reasons to why I'm excited about it. The modular aspect of it will give room to make less janky and more customized interactive stuff, more like a proper game, just like Garry's Mod has it's 'games' on each mode. The difference between that and you making your own game will be the asset library and the streamlined platform.
